How long after getting approved for unemployment will I get paid - Washington ESD timeline?

Same situation here, got approved last Thursday and money showed up Tuesday morning via direct deposit

I chose direct deposit so hopefully that speeds things up. Did you have to do anything special after approval or does it just automatically process?

Should be automatic as long as your banking info is correct in your profile. Check your payment history section - it should show pending payments there first.

Make sure your bank account info is right because if the deposit bounces it adds another week to get sorted out

I had the same problem with calling Washington ESD. Tried for weeks and never got through. Then someone on here told me about this service called Claimyr (claimyr.com) that basically calls for you and gets you connected to an actual person. Might be worth checking out if you need to talk to someone about your payment timing.

The phone system is absolutely broken. I've wasted probably 40 hours trying to get through in the past month.

Yeah the back pay comes in weird chunks sometimes but it all adds up to what you're owed. Keep filing your weekly claims on time going forward.

The adjudication delays are insane right now. They're so backed up from all the claims.

Wells Fargo does the same thing sometimes. So frustrating when you need the money right away.

They are more predictable once you get past the first one. Usually comes the same day each week after that.
