Can you get temporary unemployment for maternity leave in Washington?
I'm 7 months pregnant and trying to figure out if I can apply for unemployment benefits during my maternity leave. My employer doesn't offer paid maternity leave and I won't be able to work for about 12 weeks after delivery. I heard Washington ESD might have some options but I'm really confused about what qualifies. Does anyone know if temporary unemployment is available for maternity leave situations? I need to start planning financially since my due date is in February.
