When does PA UC deposit hit new Money Network card? Timing different than old card?
Just got switched to the new Money Network card for my PA UC benefits after using the old ReliaCard for years. Payment always hit my old card by 6am on Tuesday but its almost 2pm now and nothing on the new card yet. Anyone know if the deposit timing is different with these new cards? Getting worried since rent is due tomorrow and I need this money asap.

Mine hits around 4-5pm now with the Money Network card. It used to be earlier with ReliaCard too but they seem to run on a different schedule. Don't panic yet!

•Thank u! I'm about to have a heart attack waiting. Did you have to activate something extra? I already called and set up the PIN but wondering if there's another step I'm missing.

The Money Network cards typically receive deposits between 2pm-7pm on your regular payment day. This is different from the old system which was usually early morning. Make sure you've fully activated the card (including setting up the online account at moneynetwork.com) and verified your identity. Some people experience a 1-day delay on their very first payment to the new card system.

•Oh geez thank you! I did call the number on the card to activate but didn't know about setting up the online account. Doing that right now!

•Same! The Money Network timing is all over the place. My first deposit was late evening, then the next one came at 3pm. No consistency at all with these cards.

I've been helping several people with this transition. The Money Network cards have a completely different processing schedule than the old ReliaCard system. A few important points: 1. First payments can take up to 24 hours longer than subsequent ones 2. Regular payment windows are typically 2pm-8pm on your scheduled day 3. You MUST set up the online account at moneynetwork.com in addition to activating the physical card 4. Some users report needing to contact PA UC if their first payment doesn't arrive within 48 hours Also worth noting that you can set up direct deposit to your bank account instead through your PA UC dashboard if the card timing is problematic for you.

•This is SO helpful, thank you! I didn't realize the timing would be completely different. I'm setting up the online account now. Hoping it comes through today but at least I won't panic if it's delayed a bit.

THE WHOLE MONEY NETWORK SWITCH IS A NIGHTMARE!!!! Been waiting FIVE DAYS for my money that shows as "paid" on the UC site but still not on my card. Called UC 84 TIMES yesterday and never got through. This system is designed to make us suffer!!!

•I had a similar issue and finally got through to someone at PA UC by using Claimyr. It's a service that helps you get through the phone system without waiting all day. After two weeks of trying on my own, I found their site (claimyr.com) and they got me connected to an agent in about 20 minutes. There's a short video explaining how it works: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 - definitely worth it when you need to actually speak to someone about your money being stuck.

My payment hits around 5pm every Tuesday with Money Network. It was always around 8am with the old card. I noticed you have to be patient with the first deposit - mine took until Wednesday my first time, but now it's consistently Tuesday afternoon. I think they batch process differently than ReliaCard did.

Is anyone else having trouble with the Money Network app? I can't see my balance half the time and keep getting error messages. Wondering if it's just me or if the app is garbage for everyone...

•The app has been problematic for many users. I recommend using the website instead of the app for more reliable access. Also, make sure you've updated to the latest version of the app, as they did release some fixes recently.

UPDATE: My money just hit at 5:23pm! Everyone who said afternoon/evening was right. Such a relief! Thanks for keeping me from panicking all day.

Congrats on getting your payment! This is such a helpful thread for anyone dealing with the Money Network transition. I'm currently waiting for my first payment on the new card too and was getting anxious, but seeing everyone's experiences with the afternoon/evening timing really helps. The inconsistency compared to ReliaCard is definitely frustrating but at least now I know what to expect. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences!

•Totally agree! I just went through this transition last month and was so stressed about the timing change. It's wild how different the Money Network schedule is - my ReliaCard was like clockwork at 6am but now it's anywhere from 3-7pm. The unpredictability is the worst part when you're budgeting around payment day. At least we know we're not alone in dealing with this adjustment!

I'm dealing with the exact same situation right now! Just got my Money Network card last week and was expecting my payment this morning like usual. Reading through all these comments is such a relief - I had no idea the timing would be so different. The lack of communication about this change from PA UC is really frustrating. They should have sent out notices explaining that the deposit schedule would be completely different. Now I know to expect afternoon/evening instead of early morning. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences, this thread is way more helpful than anything on the official UC website!

•You're so right about the lack of communication! I was completely blindsided by the timing change too. PA UC really should have sent out detailed info about how different the Money Network schedule would be. I spent my first payment day refreshing the app every 5 minutes starting at 6am like an idiot lol. At least this community helps fill in the gaps where the official channels fail us. Hope your payment comes through this afternoon!

Just wanted to add my experience for anyone else going through this transition - I got my Money Network card about 3 weeks ago and the first payment was definitely the most stressful! Like others mentioned, it came way later than expected (around 7pm instead of my usual 6am with ReliaCard). What helped me was calling the Money Network customer service line to confirm the card was fully activated and linked to my UC account. The rep walked me through setting up the online account which I hadn't done initially. Now my payments come consistently between 4-6pm on payment day. Still later than I'd prefer for budgeting purposes, but at least it's predictable now. Hang in there everyone - the adjustment period is rough but it does get more consistent after the first payment!

•Thanks for sharing your experience! I'm new to this whole UC system (just started my claim last month) and was completely confused when I got the Money Network card instead of what I thought would be ReliaCard based on older forum posts I'd read. Your tip about calling Money Network customer service is really helpful - I didn't even think to do that. I've been sitting here since 6am refreshing my account like everyone else! It's honestly crazy how much stress this timing change adds when you're already dealing with unemployment. Really appreciate everyone in this thread sharing their experiences - makes me feel less alone in figuring this all out.

This thread is incredibly helpful! I'm in week 2 of waiting for my first Money Network payment and was starting to panic that something went wrong. The timing difference from ReliaCard is honestly shocking - I had no idea it would be such a drastic change from early morning to late afternoon/evening. What's really frustrating is that when I called the UC hotline, they just said "payments are processed on your regular day" without mentioning the completely different schedule. I've been checking my card balance obsessively since 5am like an idiot! At least now I know to stop refreshing until after 2pm. Really wish PA UC had been more transparent about this major change in their communication. Thanks everyone for sharing your real experiences - this community is way more informative than any official resources!

•I totally feel your frustration! I'm going through the exact same thing right now - just got my Money Network card and was completely caught off guard by the timing change. Like you, I've been checking since dawn expecting my usual early morning deposit. It's honestly ridiculous that PA UC didn't send out any kind of heads up about this major schedule difference. The stress of not knowing when your money will hit when you're already dealing with unemployment is just unnecessary. Thanks for putting into words what I've been feeling all morning! At least now I can stop obsessively checking until this afternoon and know I'm not the only one dealing with this confusing transition.

Just wanted to jump in and say THANK YOU to everyone who shared their experiences here! I literally just got my Money Network card yesterday and was about to have a complete meltdown when my payment didn't show up at the usual 6am time. I've been on ReliaCard for over a year and that early morning deposit was the one thing I could count on. Reading through all these comments saved me from calling UC 50 times today lol. It's honestly insane that they don't warn you about the completely different timing when they send out the new cards. Like, a simple "Hey, your deposits will now come in the afternoon instead of morning" would have prevented so much stress for everyone. Now I know to just chill until after 2pm instead of panic-refreshing my account all morning. You all are lifesavers!

•You're so welcome! I'm glad this thread helped save you from the panic spiral - I know I went through the exact same thing when I first switched over. It's honestly wild how such a simple heads up from PA UC could have prevented so much collective stress for everyone dealing with this transition. The early morning ReliaCard timing really was reliable, so this afternoon schedule feels so random in comparison. At least now you can plan your day better knowing when to actually expect it! Hopefully your payment comes through smoothly this afternoon and you can join the "survived the Money Network transition" club lol.

This whole thread is such a lifesaver! I'm going through my first Money Network transition right now and was absolutely freaking out when my usual 6:30am deposit didn't show up. I've been on unemployment for about 8 months with the ReliaCard and that early morning timing was honestly the only predictable thing in my life right now. Seeing everyone's experiences with the 2pm-8pm window is so reassuring - I had no clue the schedule would be completely different! Like everyone else is saying, PA UC really dropped the ball on communication about this change. A simple notification explaining the new timing would have saved so many people from unnecessary stress. I'm definitely going to set up that online account at moneynetwork.com like several people mentioned. Thank you all for sharing your real experiences - this community support means everything when you're already dealing with the uncertainty of unemployment!

•I'm so glad this thread helped you too! I'm actually new to the community and just went through this exact same panic this morning. Got my Money Network card a few days ago and was sitting here at 7am wondering if something went wrong with my claim. The lack of communication from PA UC about this timing change is honestly unacceptable - they're dealing with people who are already stressed about finances and then they just switch up the entire deposit schedule without warning? Reading everyone's experiences here has been way more helpful than anything I could find on the official website. It's crazy how this community has to fill in the gaps where the state fails us. Fingers crossed both our payments come through this afternoon! Thanks for sharing your story - it really helps to know we're all in this together.

Going through this exact situation right now! Just got my Money Network card last week and have been checking obsessively since 5am when my ReliaCard payment used to always hit. This thread is honestly saving my sanity - I had no idea the timing would be so drastically different. It's really frustrating that PA UC didn't send any kind of warning about the schedule change when they mailed out the new cards. Like, a simple "your deposits will now arrive in the afternoon instead of early morning" would have prevented so much collective anxiety for everyone making this transition. I'm definitely setting up the online account at moneynetwork.com right now after reading everyone's advice. Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences - this community support is incredible when the official channels leave us hanging!

•You're definitely not alone in this! I just went through the same exact panic last week when I got my Money Network card. The timing shift from early morning to afternoon/evening is such a major change that it really should have been clearly communicated. I spent my entire first payment day stressed out thinking something was wrong with my account. What helped me was not only setting up the online account but also downloading the Money Network app as a backup way to check my balance (though like others mentioned, the website tends to be more reliable). It's honestly ridiculous that we have to piece together this information through community forums instead of getting proper guidance from PA UC. Hang in there - once you get through this first payment, the afternoon timing becomes more predictable even if it's still frustrating for budgeting!

Just wanted to add another data point for anyone going through this transition - I got my Money Network card about a month ago and my first payment was delayed by a full day (came Wednesday instead of Tuesday). I was absolutely panicking because I thought something went wrong with my claim. Turns out it's totally normal for the first payment to take longer as they verify everything on their end. Now my payments come regularly between 3-6pm on Tuesdays. The inconsistent timing within that window is still annoying compared to the reliable 6am ReliaCard deposits, but at least I know the general timeframe now. Pro tip: I found that calling Money Network directly (not PA UC) was way more helpful for activation questions and account setup. Their customer service is actually decent compared to trying to get through to UC. Hope this helps anyone else stressing about their first Money Network payment!

•Thanks for sharing that about the first payment potentially being delayed a full day - that's really important info! I'm on day 2 of waiting for my first Money Network payment and was starting to spiral thinking something was wrong with my claim. Your tip about calling Money Network directly instead of PA UC is gold - I didn't even think to contact them directly. The customer service nightmare of trying to reach PA UC is legendary, so knowing there's a more responsive alternative for card-related questions is huge. It's honestly wild how much better information we get from this community than from any official source. Really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and timeline!

I'm so glad I found this thread! Just got my Money Network card yesterday and was completely panicking when my payment didn't show up at the usual 6am like it always did with ReliaCard. I've been unemployed for about 6 months and that reliable early morning deposit was literally the only thing I could count on in my budget planning. Reading everyone's experiences with the afternoon/evening timing (2pm-8pm) is such a huge relief - I honestly thought my claim got messed up or something. It's absolutely mind-boggling that PA UC didn't send any kind of notification about this major schedule change when they mailed the new cards. Like seriously, how hard would it have been to include a simple note saying "deposits now arrive in afternoon instead of morning"? Thanks to everyone who shared their real experiences and tips about setting up the online account - this community is honestly more helpful than any official UC resource!

•I completely understand that panic! I'm actually brand new to this whole system (just filed my first UC claim two weeks ago) and getting the Money Network card instead of ReliaCard really threw me off since all the older posts I found online were about ReliaCard timing. I didn't even know there had been a switch! Your point about budget planning is so important - when you're dealing with unemployment, that predictable deposit timing becomes such a crucial part of managing your finances. The fact that they just changed it without any heads up is really inconsiderate. I'm still waiting for my very first payment and was getting super anxious, but reading through everyone's experiences here has been incredibly reassuring. It's amazing how this community fills in all the information gaps that PA UC leaves. Thanks for sharing your story - it really helps to know we're all navigating this confusing transition together!

This thread is incredibly valuable for anyone dealing with the Money Network transition! I just switched over from ReliaCard last month and went through the exact same stress as everyone here. My first payment was terrifying - I was checking my balance every 10 minutes starting at 6am like usual, then nothing happened until almost 8pm! Now my payments consistently come between 4-7pm on Tuesdays. One thing I discovered that might help newcomers: you can actually set up text alerts through the Money Network website so you get notified the moment your deposit hits instead of constantly checking. Also, for anyone still struggling with the app issues mentioned earlier - clearing your cache and updating to the latest version helped me a lot. The timing change is definitely frustrating for budgeting, but at least now we all know what to expect. PA UC really should pin this thread somewhere because it's way more informative than their official communications!

•That text alert tip is genius! I had no idea you could set that up through the Money Network website - definitely doing that right now so I can stop obsessively checking my balance all afternoon. The cache clearing suggestion is super helpful too since I've been having those app issues people mentioned earlier. You're absolutely right that PA UC should pin this thread or something - the amount of practical, real-world info here is incredible compared to their vague official communications. It's honestly ridiculous that we have to crowdsource basic information about major changes to our benefit delivery system. Thanks for sharing the text alert feature - that's going to save so much anxiety for everyone going through this transition!
