PA UC payment date shows today - will money arrive tomorrow or Wednesday?
Just checked my PA UC account and my payment date shows as today. In the past I swear money hit my Money Network card the very next day, but lately it seems like things have been different with the system. Anyone know if I should expect the funds tomorrow or will it be Wednesday? Just trying to plan for some bills that are due soon. The website doesn't give any clear info about this!

It's usually posted to your account the next business day after the payment date shown in the system. So if today is Monday, you should see it Tuesday. If today is Friday, you might not see it until Monday. That's been my experience over my last benefit year.

•Thanks! Today's Monday so hopefully tomorrow then. Just wasn't sure if they changed something since I remember getting paid next day before.

•This is exactly right! I was with a local bank and it took 2 days after payment date, switched to direct deposit with a major bank and now it's always the next business day. The payment date is when PA UC releases it, not when it hits your account.

If you're really concerned about when your payment will arrive and need to talk to someone at PA UC to confirm, I'd recommend Claimyr. Spent weeks trying to get through to UC on my own with nothing but busy signals. Claimyr got me connected to an agent in about 25 minutes who confirmed exactly when my payment would hit my card. They have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 and their website is claimyr.com. Way better than guessing when your money might show up.

•is that service legit? seems weird to pay someone just to call unemployment for you...

UPDATE: Just got my payment this morning (Tuesday)! So for anyone else wondering, at least with the Money Network card, it does still come the day after the payment date shows in the system. Thanks everyone for the help!

•It took about 2 weeks for my initial approval, but I didn't have any issues with my claim. Tell her to make sure she does her weekly certifications even while waiting for approval!

The whole system is DESIGNED to be confusing so people give up!!! I had 3 different payment dates last month and they all came on different days after. NO CONSISTENCY WHATSOEVER!

•While there can definitely be frustrating delays, the payment date in the system plus one business day is generally reliable for Money Network cards. If you're seeing major inconsistencies, it might be worth checking if there were any partial payments or other issues affecting your claim.

I've been on PA UC for about 6 months now and can confirm what others are saying - it's pretty consistent with the Money Network card. Payment date shows up in the system, then it hits the card the next business day. The only time I've seen delays is during holidays or when there's a system maintenance issue. Good to hear yours came through on schedule @Reina! For anyone new to this, just remember weekends don't count as business days so Friday payments usually show up Monday.

•That's really helpful context @Yuki! I'm new to this whole process and wasn't sure what to expect with timing. Good to know about the weekend/business day thing too - that makes total sense why some people might see longer delays depending on when their payment date falls. Appreciate you sharing your experience over 6 months, gives me confidence the system is more predictable than it first seemed!

I've been dealing with PA UC for about 8 months now and can add that if you're ever worried about timing, you can also check the Money Network app/website directly - it usually shows pending deposits before they actually post to your balance. That way you know it's in the pipeline even if it hasn't hit yet. Also worth noting that if you switch from the Money Network card to direct deposit to your own bank, the timing might change depending on your bank's processing schedule. Glad everything worked out for you OP!

•That's a great tip about checking the Money Network app for pending deposits! I didn't know you could see it before it actually posts. I'm still pretty new to all this and learning all the little tricks that make the process less stressful. Thanks for sharing that - will definitely download the app so I can track things better in the future.
