PA UC login error code preventing access to my unemployment account - help!

I've been trying to sign into my PA unemployment account for the past 3 days and keep getting blocked by some error code. The screen just says 'Error accessing account' with a code E4532 but doesn't explain what that means or how to fix it. I need to file my weekly claim by tomorrow or I'll miss this week's payment. Has anyone dealt with this specific error before? I already tried clearing cookies and using a different browser but nothing's working. Getting super stressed about missing my filing deadline!

Thanks I'll try early tomorrow morning! Did you have to do anything special to get in or just regular login?

Error code E4532 usually means there's a temporary account lock due to too many login attempts or a system maintenance issue. A few things you can try: 1. Wait at least 30 minutes before attempting again (system automatically unlocks minor security flags) 2. Make sure you're using the correct PIN - not your password from another site 3. Try using a completely different device if possible 4. Check if you received any emails about identity verification requirements If none of these work, you'll need to speak with an agent to have them manually reset your account access.

Thank you! This is super helpful. I might have used my bank PIN by mistake a couple times. I'll try waiting then use the correct PIN tomorrow morning.

Don't stress too much about the deadline - PA UC actually gives you a grace period of TWO WEEKS to file weekly claims before they completely lock you out. I missed a week once and was able to file late. You just need to make sure you list the correct week when you do get in.

Oh that's a relief! I thought I'd lose the whole week's payment if I couldn't file by Sunday night. Thank you!

THE WHOLE SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO LOCK PEOPLE OUT!!! I swear they do this on purpose so fewer people can claim benefits. I got locked out 4 TIMES last year with different error codes each time. It's ridiculous how they expect people to navigate this outdated system without any actual help documentation. Error codes that mean nothing to regular people!!!

I had a similar error last month and couldn't get it fixed online at all. Ended up spending days trying to call UC but kept getting busy signals or disconnected after waiting on hold. Finally used Claimyr (claimyr.com) to get through to an agent who fixed my account in literally 2 minutes. They have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 The agent told me these error codes usually need manual resets from their side, especially if it's related to account security.

I'll try the early morning login and PIN reset suggestions first, but if that doesn't work I might check this out. Just nervous about missing more days trying to get this fixed. Thanks for the suggestion!

One important thing to know is that these error codes sometimes appear when there's an "open issue" on your claim that requires attention. It's not always just a login problem - sometimes the system restricts access when they need additional information from you. If the login suggestions don't work, I'd recommend checking if you received any mail from UC in the past week. They still send many important notices by regular mail rather than electronically. They might be waiting for you to provide documentation or answer questions about your claim.

I haven't gotten any mail from them recently but I'll double check my mailbox today just in case. My claim was going smoothly for 2 months until this happened.

Anyone know if theres a way to file weekly claims by phone when website isnt working? My cousin said she did this once when her internet was down

Yes, you can file by phone using PAT (Pennsylvania Automated Teleclaims) at 888-255-4728. However, you'll still need your PIN, and if your account has a security lock, this might not work either. Worth trying though!

Thank you! I didn't know about the phone option. I'll try that too if I still can't get online in the morning.

UPDATE: I got in! I tried at 6:30am and the error was gone. Looks like a combination of trying early morning + waiting 24 hours since my last login attempt did the trick. Weekly claim is now filed! Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions.

Great news! For anyone else reading this thread in the future - this confirms that E4532 is likely a temporary security timeout that self-resolves after a waiting period.
