How long for PA UC Money Network card to arrive? Still waiting after 10 days
I got approved for PA unemployment benefits last week and they said my payments would be on a Money Network card, but I haven't received anything in the mail yet. It's been about 10 days since my approval. Is this normal wait time? Has anyone received their card recently and how long did it take? The website says 7-10 business days but I'm getting worried since I have bills coming up. Do they send any tracking info or should I just keep waiting?

•Thanks for letting me know! Did they send you any kind of email when it shipped or anything?

The PA UC Money Network cards typically take 7-10 business days after approval, but can sometimes take up to 14 business days (not calendar days). Remember that weekends and holidays don't count as business days. If you don't receive it by day 15, you should contact PA Treasury at 1-833-848-1997. While waiting, you can set up your Money Network account online so you're ready when the card arrives. Also, once you receive it, be sure to activate it immediately through the number on the sticker.

•Thank you! I didn't realize I could set up the account before getting the card. I'll do that today so I'm ready. And thanks for the Treasury number - I'll give it a few more days before calling.

THEY ARE SO SLOW WITH EVERYTHING!! my card took THREE WEEKS to arrive and by then I was absolutely desperate. I called like crazy and nobody could tell me anything useful. The system is completely broken and they don't care how much we suffer waiting!! Make sure you're filing your weekly claims anyway even without the card.

•While I understand your frustration, three weeks is unusual. The PA Treasury handles card distribution, not UC itself. Most cards arrive within the 7-10 business day window. OP should continue filing weekly claims as you mentioned, and all approved weeks will be loaded once the card arrives.

my mailbox got broken into last year and someone stole my card. had to report it and wait like 3 more weeks for a replacement. make sure your mailbox is secure!

•Omg I didn't even think about mail theft! That's scary. My mailbox doesn't lock but I'll try to check it as soon as mail comes each day.

If you need to talk to someone at UC while waiting for your card, I'd recommend trying Claimyr. It took me days of calling before I found them, but they got me through to a UC agent in under an hour. I was going crazy with the busy signals before that! You can see how it works in their video: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 and the website is claimyr.com. Just helped me avoid a lot of frustration when I needed to check on my claim.

•Thanks for the tip! I've been getting nothing but busy signals when I call. I'll check out that video if my card doesn't show up in the next couple days.

•That's a good point! I just double-checked my dashboard and the address is correct. Hopefully it's just taking its time in the mail.

One more thing worth mentioning - while you're waiting for your card to arrive, you can log into your PA UC dashboard and verify that payments are actually being processed. Look for the "Payment History" section. If you see payments listed as "sent" or "processed," that's a good sign that the card is on its way with funds already loaded. If nothing shows there, you might have another issue that needs addressing.

•Just checked and I do see two payments listed as "processed" - one from last week and one from yesterday! So I guess that means the money is approved and should be on the card when it arrives? That makes me feel better!

I waited 9 days for my card then realized it got delivered to my neighbor's mailbox by mistake! Maybe check with your neighbors if it's been longer than 10 business days. The envelope is pretty plain looking and doesn't obviously say it's your benefits card.

•That's good to know about the envelope! I'll keep an eye out for something plain that might not look important at first glance.
