When does my unemployment get deposited - NYS Department of Labor payment schedule?
I certified for my weekly claim on Tuesday morning through the NYS Department of Labor system and it's been three days now. When should I expect to see the deposit in my account? This is only my second week claiming so I'm not sure what the normal timeline is. My first payment took forever because of the initial processing but now that everything's approved I thought it would be faster.

Usually takes 2-3 business days after you certify your weekly claim. If you certified Tuesday, you should see it by Friday at the latest. Make sure your direct deposit info is correct in your my.ny.gov account.

The NYS Department of Labor processes payments in batches, so it depends on when they run their system. Most people get deposits Wednesday through Friday if they certified early in the week. If you're still not seeing anything after a week, that's when you should contact them to check if there's an issue with your claim.

Sometimes there are delays if they're reviewing something on your claim. Did you report any work hours or earnings this week? That can slow down processing.

I've been getting mine pretty consistently on Thursdays when I certify on Tuesday. The NYS Department of Labor seems to process most payments mid-week. If you're still within that 2-3 business day window, you should be good. Just make sure you didn't miss any questions during certification that might flag your claim for review.
