When do I get my unemployment payment from NYS Department of Labor?
I filed my weekly claim on Sunday like I always do but I still haven't gotten my payment yet. It's Thursday now and I'm getting worried. Usually I get the direct deposit by Tuesday or Wednesday. My claim status still shows active and I don't see any issues on my account. When should I expect to get my unemployment payment? Is there something wrong with my claim?

The NYS Department of Labor payment schedule is such a mess. They say one thing and do another. I've had payments delayed for no reason multiple times and when you finally get someone on the phone they just give you generic answers about 'processing times' without actually looking at your specific case.

I get mine every Wednesday like clockwork but my friend gets hers on Thursdays even though we both certify on Sunday. I think it depends on your bank too.
