Unemployment Payment Shows 4 Effective Days but $0.00 Amount - Released 12/03 but Nothing in Account After 3 Days
My payment history shows $0.00 for last week ending 10/13/2024 but it says 4 effective days. The release date was 12/03/2024, which was a few days ago. Still nothing in my account. Anyone know if this means I'll get paid next week? Looking at my payment details: Week Ending: 10/13/2024 Total Amount: $0.00 Net Amount: $0.00 Effective Days: 4 Release Date: 12/03/2024 Type: Unemployment Insurance I understand that once my claim becomes payable, I might see fewer effective days remaining because I'm being paid for those days, and this should soon be reflected in my bank account or debit card. The system says I can receive a maximum of 104 effective days on my claim. The documentation states: "If three days have passed since a payment was released and the funds are not in your account, you should contact the Way2Go Program Customer Service line at (844) 649-9845 if you have a debit card. If you have direct deposit, contact your bank. If there is a holiday in a given week, payments may be delayed by one day that week." It's been three days since the release date, and I still don't see anything. My Benefit Year Ending date is approaching, and I'm worried about not being able to collect benefits after that. Has anyone experienced this before? Does having 4 effective days but $0.00 amount mean there's an issue or will I see payment next week instead?

Usually when you see effective days being used up, the money follows within 3-4 business days. Check your payment method - if its direct deposit call your bank, if its the debit card call Way2Go at 844-649-9845

Tired of waiting on hold? I found this site claimyr.com that calls for you and stays on hold until someone picks up. Cost me $20 but worth every penny tbh. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

AUTHORITATIVE ANSWER: Here's what's happening with your claim: When you see effective days being deducted but $0 payment, it typically means one of several things: 1. Payment is processing but hasn't been released yet 2. There might be a hold on your account 3. Bank verification issue 4. System delay What you should do: - Wait 3 business days from release date - Check your payment method details are correct - If using direct deposit, contact your bank - If using Way2Go card, call 844-649-9845 If you need to reach unemployment directly, use claimyr.com - they'll wait on hold and connect you to an agent. Worth the $20 to avoid hours of hold time. Keep certifying weekly regardless of payment status! 💯

Had the exact same thing happen to me last month! The effective days getting deducted but showing $0 is actually normal - it means your claim is being processed but the payment hasn't hit your account yet. Since it's been 3 days since the 12/03 release date, I'd definitely call your bank first thing tomorrow morning like others suggested. Sometimes there's just a delay on their end. Don't stress too much about the benefit year ending - as long as you keep certifying weekly you should be good. The system is just slow sometimes 😅
