New York Unemployment Payment Says Paid But No Money in Account - Release Date 2/25
My unemployment payment status shows paid with a release date but nothing has shown up in my account yet. The system says it was released to debit even though I updated my direct deposit info before the payment. Anyone else dealing with this or know what's going on?

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! Used this site called claimyr.com - it calls and waits on hold, then connects you when an agent picks up. costs $20 but worth every penny https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

Here's what you need to know about payment changes: When you switch from debit to direct deposit, it can take up to 2 payment cycles to take effect. First payment might still go to the old method. Call them using claimyr.com to verify where they sent it. They can also help track the payment. Common issues: - System shows paid but takes 3-5 business days to appear - Bank changes need verification - Sometimes they send to old payment method first - Holiday weekends delay everything Dont panic if its been less than 5 business days. After that, definitely call.
