NYDOL login says incorrect PIN but it's right - No payment in a month, need to talk to agent ASAP
I'm having trouble with my unemployment payment. I haven't received anything in a month, and now when I try to log in, it says my PIN is incorrect. I double-checked, and I'm 100% sure I'm using the right PIN. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do? I really need to speak with an agent about this.

Ugh, I feel your pain. The unemployment system is such a mess rn. Have you tried resetting your PIN? Sometimes their system glitches and you need to do a reset even if you know it's right.

•Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give that a shot, but I'm worried about messing something up and making it worse 😓

•Yo, resetting the PIN is actually a good idea. I had to do that last month when the same thing happened to me. It's annoying af but it might work

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Anyone else tried it?

•Yeah, it's legit. I was skeptical at first too, but I was desperate. It worked for me and saved me hours of frustration.

•20 bucks tho? That's kinda steep when we're already broke af 😭

•I get it, but for me it was worth it. I was losing my mind trying to get through on my own.

The whole system is broken. I've been dealing with issues for MONTHS. It's like they don't want us to get our money. 🤬

Have you tried contacting your local representative? Sometimes they can help push things through faster. It worked for me when I was stuck in limbo for weeks.

•That's a good idea, I hadn't thought of that. How did you go about contacting them?

•Just google your district's rep and there should be a contact form on their website. Explain your situation and they usually have staff dedicated to helping with unemployment issues.

OK, let me break this down for you. I've been through this rodeo before and here's what you need to do: 1. First, try resetting your PIN. Even if you're 100% sure it's correct, sometimes the system glitches. 2. If that doesn't work, document EVERYTHING. Write down the exact error message, the time and date you tried to log in, and any other relevant info. 3. Try calling first thing in the morning, like right when they open. That's usually the best time to get through. 4. If you still can't get through, use the online contact form on the unemployment website. Be super detailed about your issue. 5. As a last resort, contact your local representative. They often have direct lines to the unemployment office. 6. While you're waiting, make sure you're still certifying for benefits every week, even if you can't log in. You can usually do this by phone. 7. If you're really desperate and can afford it, try that Claimyr service someone mentioned. I haven't used it personally, but I've heard good things. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The system is designed to be frustrating, but you WILL get through eventually. Good luck!

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes important emails from unemployment end up there. Just a thought!

•Good suggestion! I just checked and unfortunately nothing there. But I'll keep an eye on it from now on.

Guys, I heard they're updating the system next week. Might be why everythings so messed up rn. Maybe wait a few days and try again?

•My cousin works for the state (not unemployment tho) and she mentioned it. Take it with a grain of salt I guess 🤷♂️

Pro tip: if you're gonna use that Claimyr thing, do it early in the morning. I tried it at like 2pm and was on hold forever. Did it again at 8am and got through in 20 mins.

Hey Evelyn, I went through almost the exact same thing last month! The PIN issue is super frustrating - I was locked out for 3 weeks. What worked for me was calling the automated line (888-209-8124) and doing a PIN reset, but here's the key part: after you reset it, wait 24-48 hours before trying to log in again. The system needs time to sync up. Also, when you do reset, make sure you're using a computer browser, not your phone - the mobile site is glitchy af. Don't lose hope, you'll get through this! The missing payments should show up once you get back in. Keep us posted on how it goes! 💪

•This is super helpful! I'm definitely going to try the PIN reset with the waiting period you mentioned. I've been trying to log in immediately after resetting which might be why it's not working. And good point about using a computer instead of mobile - I've been doing everything on my phone. Really appreciate the detailed advice and encouragement! 🙏
