Are you using a password manager? Sometimes those don't work right with the ny unemployment site because of how outdated their security protocols are.

did u try doing a password reset through the 'forgot password' link? sometimes even tho the old password should work, the system forces you to create a brand new one that's different from any you've used before.

i stg the new york unemployment website is run by a hamster on a wheel. same thing happened to my sister last month - she ended up having to go IN PERSON to a office to get it fixed. ridiculous.
