DONT JUST WAIT!!! the system will keep you waiting FOREVER if you let it!!! I waited 5 weeks after id.me and nothing happened until I finally got through to someone. They told me my account was just sitting there and needed to be manually reviewed!!! They fixed it in 5 minutes once I actually talked to someone.

I was in your exact situation last month. After completing ID.me verification, NYSDOL still has to process it on their end. Try logging into your NY.gov account and check your message inbox - sometimes they'll send you notifications if they need additional information. In my case, my payments were released exactly 17 days after completing ID.me verification (so 3 days after the 14-day period ended).\n\nIf nothing happens by day 20, definitely call them. It's not a scam - they don't ask for any of your unemployment account details. They just connect you with NYSDOL's phone system. You still talk directly to the unemployment office, they just help you bypass the busy signals.
