Can't reach Way2Go Card customer service - need help getting live agent
Been trying to get through to Way2Go customer service for days. Everytime I call the number they say 24/7 service but I just get the automated system. Need to talk to a real person about my card. Anyone know how to get past the robot?

Found a solution! Used claimyr.com to get through. Its a service that calls and waits on hold then connects you when they get someone. Costs $20 but totally worth it not waiting forever. Check out how it works: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

try calling exactly at 8am when they open. Sometimes works for me but not always tbh

Press 0 then # then 1 then 4 - sometimes this gets you to a human faster

If ur having card issues u can also try going to any bank that accepts Way2Go and talk to them directly. Sometimes faster than phone 💯

Have you tried the chat feature on their website? Sometimes that works better than calling. Also heard if you select "report lost/stolen card" option it connects you faster to a human since it's considered urgent. Worth a shot!

•The chat feature is down half the time though 😩 But the lost/stolen card trick is genius! Never thought of that. Definitely gonna try it tomorrow morning @Theodore Nelson thanks for the tip!

Try calling the main number but when you get the automated menu, press 2 for "card services" then 3 for "other issues" - this usually gets you in the queue for a live agent faster than the main options. Also calling between 2-4pm seems to have shorter wait times in my experience. Good luck!

•Thanks for sharing this! The 2-4pm tip is really helpful - I never thought about timing mattering that much. Gonna try the menu sequence you mentioned tomorrow. Fingers crossed it actually works 🤞

I've been dealing with this same nightmare for over a week now! What's worked for me is calling during lunch hours (11am-1pm) and immediately pressing 0 as soon as the automated system starts talking - sometimes it bypasses the whole menu and puts you straight in queue. Also downloaded the Way2Go app which has a "contact us" feature that's been slightly more responsive than calling. Still took forever but at least I'm not listening to hold music for 3 hours straight 😤

•The app trick is clutch! Just downloaded it and you're right - the contact feature seems way more responsive than their phone system. That lunch hour timing makes total sense too since most people probably call first thing in the morning or after work. Thanks for the real advice @Aisha Abdullah - finally something that might actually work instead of just complaining about how bad they are lol

•Yo the app actually has a contact feature?? I had no idea! Been calling like an idiot this whole time when there was probably an easier way. Downloading it right now. That lunch hour timing makes perfect sense too - everyone's probably calling at 8am or 5pm. You might have just saved my sanity @Aisha Abdullah 🙏

Just tried the pressing 0 immediately trick @Aisha Abdullah mentioned and it actually worked!! Got through to a real person in about 20 minutes instead of the usual endless loop. They were able to help me with my card issue right away. That lunch hour timing was spot on too - called at 12:30pm and the wait wasn't nearly as bad as my previous attempts. Thanks everyone for the actual helpful tips instead of just venting (though the venting is totally valid lol). This community is clutch! 🙌

•This is exactly what I needed to hear! Been pulling my hair out for days trying to get through. The fact that you actually got results in 20 minutes gives me hope. Definitely trying the lunch hour + press 0 combo tomorrow. Thanks @Chloe Martin for being the guinea pig and proving it works! 🎉

Just wanted to share another tip that worked for me - if you have a smartphone, try using the callback feature on their website instead of staying on hold. You enter your number and they call you back when an agent is available. Took about 45 minutes but at least I could do other things while waiting instead of being glued to my phone. Found it buried in their "contact us" section under "request callback". Not sure why they don't advertise this option more! 📞

•Wait there's a callback feature?! How did I miss that?? I've been sitting on hold for hours like a fool when I could've just had them call me back. This is a game changer @Logan Stewart - definitely checking out their website right now. 45 minutes is way better than the 3+ hours I ve'been wasting. Thanks for sharing this hidden gem! 🤯

•Bro you just blew my mind! I had no idea about the callback feature either. Been wasting so much time sitting on hold when I could've been living my life 😅 Just checked their website and found it - it's literally buried under like 3 different menus. Why would they hide something so useful?? Definitely using this next time instead of torturing myself with hold music. Thanks @Logan Stewart for the pro tip! 🙏

Pro tip from someone who finally cracked the code: Download the Way2Go mobile app and use the "secure message" feature instead of calling! I was skeptical at first but got a response within 4 hours vs the phone nightmare we're all dealing with. You can attach screenshots of your issue and they actually respond with real solutions. Also found out you can dispute transactions and request card replacements right through the app without talking to anyone. Wish I knew this weeks ago before I went through phone hell 🤦♂️

•This is exactly what I needed! Just downloaded the app and found the secure message feature - it's way better than dealing with their phone system. Already sent them a message about my card issue with screenshots like you suggested. 4 hours response time sounds like heaven compared to the days I've been trying to call. Thanks @Connor Richards for sharing this, you might have just saved us all from phone purgatory! 🙌

Holy cow, reading through all these comments has been more helpful than hours of googling! 🙏 I've been stuck in the same customer service hell for 3 days now. Definitely going to try the lunch hour timing + pressing 0 trick that @Chloe Martin confirmed works, and also downloading the app for that secure message feature @Connor Richards mentioned. It's crazy how they hide all these actually useful contact methods while making their phone system nearly impossible to navigate. Thanks everyone for sharing real solutions instead of just complaining - this community is gold! 💯

•Right?? This thread is like a treasure trove of actual solutions! I was ready to give up after days of phone tag with their terrible system. Already bookmarked all these tips - the app secure messaging, callback feature, lunch hour timing, and that press 0 trick. Can't believe they make it so hard to find the ways that actually work. This community definitely has each other's backs! @Carmen Ortiz thanks for summarizing everything, now I have a whole game plan to try 🔥

Been lurking here for weeks with the same exact problem! Finally decided to create an account because this thread is pure gold 🏆 I've tried literally everything - calling at different times, pressing random buttons, even tried that sketchy callback number I found on Reddit. Nothing worked until I read all your tips. Just tried the secure messaging feature on the app that @Connor Richards mentioned and WOW - already got an automated confirmation that my message was received and they'll respond within 24 hours. That's more progress than I've made in 2 weeks of phone calls! Also scheduling my callback request for tomorrow during lunch hour using @Logan Stewart's tip. Y'all are lifesavers - this is exactly why I love this community! Will report back with results 🤞

•Welcome to the community @Paolo Rizzo! 🎉 So glad you finally joined us - this thread really has been a game changer! It's wild how we've all been struggling with the same exact issue and had to crowdsource actual solutions since Way2Go's customer service is basically non-existent. Definitely keep us posted on how the secure messaging and lunch hour callback combo works out for you. I'm betting you'll have way better luck than those endless phone loops. This is proof that sometimes the community knows better than the actual company about how to use their own services 😅
