Need Way2Go Card Customer Service Phone Number - Can't Get Through to Human

I need to get through to someone at Way2Go Card. Been trying to call but keep getting stuck in the automated system. I have money on my card but can't access it. Getting really frustrated with these phone menus. Anyone know how to reach a real person?

The number is 855-233-8223. Press 0 repeatedly once you get into the menu. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't tbh

nah that doesn't work anymore, they changed the system last month 🤮

fr fr tried that yesterday and got nowhere for 2 hours straight

I finally got through! Used claimyr.com to call for me, stayed on hold, then connected me when someone picked up. Worth the $20 tbh, better than wasting hours. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

sounds sketchy. does it actually work? 🤔

0 coins

100% legit, used it twice now. beats calling all day

0 coins

$20 tho? thats crazy expensive

0 coins

cheaper than missing work to sit on hold all day lol

Try calling exactly at 8:30 AM when they open. Thats how I got through last week

0 coins

tried that. line was busy b4 they even opened smh

PROTIP: Call the Spanish line and press 2 for English. Usually shorter wait times 💯

Yall need to email them instead. takes like 3 days but at least someone responds

Here's everything I learned trying to contact Way2Go (spent 2 weeks figuring this out): First, avoid peak hours (11am-2pm). Second, if your card is locked, use claimyr.com - they'll wait on hold and call you when an agent picks up. Third, document everything. Fourth, if its fraud related press 2 instead of 1 in the main menu - different department but they can still help. Fifth, write down your case number if you get one. Hope this helps someone else stuck in this mess!

Been dealing with this same issue for weeks! What finally worked for me was calling right at 8:00 AM (not 8:30) and immediately pressing 1 for English, then 3 for card issues, then 0 three times fast. Got through on my 4th try doing this. Also helped that I called on a Tuesday - Mondays and Fridays seem to be the worst. Don't give up, it's super frustrating but you'll eventually get through!

@Amina Sy this is super helpful! I ve'been calling at random times and getting nowhere. Gonna try the 8 AM sharp strategy tomorrow. Quick question - when you press 0 three times fast, do you wait for the menu to finish or just spam it right away?

@Amina Sy omg thank you for this!! I ve'been calling at like 2pm every day like an idiot 🤦‍♀️ Definitely trying the 8am thing tomorrow. Did you have to redial multiple times or did you get through on the first call that Tuesday?

0 coins

@Amina Sy you re'a lifesaver! I ve'been calling at like noon and wondering why I can never get through. Makes total sense that 8 AM would be better before everyone else starts calling. Quick question - did you have your card number and all your info ready before calling? I m'wondering if having everything prepared helps speed up the process once you actually get connected.

@Amina Sy this is amazing advice! I ve'been calling at like 11am and getting nowhere for days. The Tuesday tip is genius - never thought about which day of the week matters. Quick question: when you say press 0 three times fast, should I wait for each beep or just rapid fire all three presses? And did you have to call back multiple times that Tuesday or did the 8am sharp thing work on your first try?

0 coins

@Amina Sy this is exactly what I needed to see! I ve'been calling randomly throughout the day and getting so frustrated. The 8 AM sharp tip makes perfect sense - beat the rush before everyone else starts trying. Quick question though - when you got through, how long were you on hold before talking to an actual person? Trying to mentally prepare myself for tomorrow s'attempt lol

@Amina Sy this is super helpful! I ve'been calling at like 1pm every day and wondering why I never get through. The Tuesday morning strategy makes so much sense - everyone s'probably calling Monday mornings after the weekend. Just to clarify, when you press 0 three times fast, do you do it right when you hear the menu start or do you wait for it to finish talking? And roughly how long were you on hold once you actually got into the queue? Trying to plan my morning tomorrow!

@Amina Sy You re'a legend for sharing this! I ve'been banging my head against the wall trying to get through at random times. The 8 AM strategy makes perfect sense - getting in before the flood of calls. Quick question: after you press 0 three times, did you get put on hold right away or did you have to go through more menu options? And how long was the actual hold time once you got in the queue? Want to make sure I block out enough time tomorrow morning!

@Amina Sy This is golden advice! I ve'been calling at like 10am and never getting anywhere. The 8 AM sharp timing makes total sense - beat everyone else to the punch. Quick question: when you press 0 three times fast, do you wait for the automated voice to finish or just hit it immediately? And roughly how long was the hold time once you actually got connected to the queue? Want to set my expectations for tomorrow!

Just wanted to add another option that worked for me - try calling on Wednesday mornings around 8:15 AM and use the callback feature if they offer it! When I finally got through to the menu, there was an option to have them call me back instead of waiting on hold. Saved me from sitting by the phone for hours. Also make sure you have your SSN, card number, and zip code ready - they ask for all of that right away. The whole call took about 15 minutes once I actually got connected to a person. Don't lose hope @Ella Knight, you'll get through eventually!

@Sophia Carson Wait they have a callback feature now?? That s'amazing! I had no idea - I ve'been just sitting on hold forever when I do manage to get through the menu. Do you remember which menu option led to the callback? I m'definitely trying this tomorrow morning along with the 8:15 AM timing. Having all the info ready is smart too, nothing worse than finally getting through just to fumble around looking for your card number!

0 coins

@Sophia Carson Yes! The callback feature is a game changer. When I got through the main menu, I think it was after pressing 3 for card issues - there was an option that said something like press "9 to request a callback instead" of waiting on hold. They called me back in about 45 minutes which was way better than sitting there listening to that awful hold music for hours. Definitely have your phone ready though because if you miss the callback you have to start all over again 😭

@Ella Knight I feel your pain! Just went through this nightmare myself last month. Here's what finally worked for me: Call exactly at 8:00 AM on a Tuesday or Wednesday (avoid Mondays like the plague). The number is 855-233-8223. Once you get in, press 1 for English, then 3 for card issues, then listen carefully - sometimes there's a callback option (press 9) which is WAY better than sitting on hold. If no callback option, press 0 repeatedly but don't spam it - wait about 2 seconds between each press. Have your SSN, full card number, and zip code written down and ready. The Spanish line trick someone mentioned actually works too - call the main number and press 2 for Spanish, then when you get through press 2 again for English transfer. Good luck, you got this! 💪

@Isabella Martin This is such a comprehensive breakdown, thank you! I ve'been doing everything wrong - calling on Mondays around noon 🤦‍♂️ The callback option sounds like a lifesaver if it s'available. Quick question: when you used the Spanish line trick, did you have to wait long for them to transfer you to English? And did the transfer put you back at the end of the queue or did you keep your place in line? Definitely trying the Tuesday 8 AM approach this week!

@Ella Knight I just got through yesterday using a combination of these tips! Called at exactly 8:05 AM on a Wednesday (855-233-8223), pressed 1 for English, then 3 for card issues. The key thing everyone's missing - when the automated voice starts talking about options, DON'T wait for it to finish. Press 0 immediately when you hear "for other options" and it usually cuts through faster. Also had my card frozen for "suspicious activity" (aka buying groceries at a new store 🙄) and they unlocked it in under 5 minutes once I got through. The rep told me peak call times are 9 AM - 3 PM, so definitely stick to early morning calls. Hang in there, the system is trash but you'll eventually get your money!

@Olivia Martinez Thanks for sharing this! The tip about pressing 0 right when you hear for "other options instead" of waiting for the whole menu is genius - I never thought about cutting the automated voice off mid-sentence. It s'so frustrating that they freeze cards for normal stuff like shopping at a new grocery store 🙄 At least once you get through they can fix it quickly. I m'definitely trying the 8:05 AM Wednesday combo - seems like that s'the sweet spot everyone s'finding success with!

Just wanted to share what worked for me after reading all these tips! Called this morning at 8:03 AM (855-233-8223) on a Thursday and got through using @Isabella Martin's method. Pressed 1 for English, then 3 for card issues, and there WAS a callback option (press 9)! They called me back in about 30 minutes. Had my card unlocked in 5 minutes once connected. The rep confirmed that Tuesday-Thursday mornings between 8-8:30 AM are definitely the best times. Also pro tip: they asked for the last 4 digits of my SSN first, then full card number, then zip code - have it all ready to go! Don't give up @Ella Knight, these strategies actually work! 🙌

@Rhett Bowman This is so helpful! I ve'been struggling with the same issue for days and seeing everyone s'success stories is giving me hope. The callback option sounds amazing - I had no idea that was even a thing! Quick question: when they called you back, did it show up as the same 855 number or a different number? Want to make sure I don t'accidentally ignore the call thinking it s'spam. Also super helpful to know the exact order they ask for info - having everything written down and ready definitely seems key. Going to try the Thursday morning approach tomorrow! 🤞
