Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. The $431 is your gross benefit amount. They take out taxes if you elected for withholding (federal 10% and state 2.5%). They might also deduct health insurance premiums if you opted for that, child support if applicable, or other mandated deductions. The $381 is your net amount after all deductions.
