When will New York Unemployment release 1099-G tax forms for 2023?
Need to file my taxes and wondering when New York unemployment will release the 1099-G forms. Anyone know the date? I checked my online account but nothing is showing up yet.

They usually release them by the end of January. You can download them from your online account once they're available. Just keep checking!

You can request a duplicate copy if you dont receive it by feb 15th. Just go to ur online account and theres a form for it

HEADS UP: Make sure your address is updated in the system! They mail physical copies too but if ur address is wrong youll never get it 👀

Just called them this morning, they said all 1099-Gs will be available online by January 31st at the latest. If you need it earlier you gotta contact them directly but good luck getting through on the phone without something like claimyr.com

dont forget to print or save a copy when it does come out! The website is known to have technical issues later in tax season when everyone tries to access it at once
