If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

not to scare u but most ppl who have unemployment fraud also have tax return fraud. contact the IRS and your state tax dept to put a pin on ur account so nobody can file taxes in ur name.

you can get an Identity Protection PIN from the IRS website. makes it so nobody can file without it.

am i the only one who thinks its INSANE that the ny unemployment system is so easy to hack?? like how does someone just file a claim with someone elses info and get approved??? no verification??? wtf

actually they DO verify with employers but the fraudsters know how to game the system. sometimes they even create fake companies that "verify" the employment.

still completely ridiculous. in 2022 we should have better security than this!

I've called 173 times today. ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY THREE. Not exaggerating, I've been keeping count. Not a single time got past the "we're experiencing high call volume" message. How is this acceptable in 2023???

Quick question - does anyone know if unemployment benefits count as income for Medicaid eligibility in NY? Getting so much conflicting info online.

•

Yes they do count as income for Medicaid. Make sure you report it or you could have issues later.

Have you checked if you've had a data breach? Go to haveibeenpwned.com and put in your email. Might give you clues about where your data got leaked from.

Just checked - looks like my data was in the T-Mobile breach last year 😖 That explains a lot

0 coins

yeah that T-Mobile breach was MASSIVE. Affected like 50 million customers. Definitely change all your passwords!!

Guys we need to talk about how broken this system is. Why are they suddenly doing "random" checks AFTER approving people and paying benefits for months?? The NY unemployment system is a complete disaster. I've been dealing with them for so long and every month there's some new hurdle. It's exhausting. 😫

•

It's by design. They make it difficult so people give up. They don't want to pay benefits.

•

Facts. The system is designed to frustrate people into giving up their rightful benefits.

0 coins

i hate to say this but... CALL THEM IMMEDIATELY. I got a similar message and ignored it thinking it was some kind of phishing attempt, and they cut off my benefits without warning. Took 5 weeks to get them reinstated and I almost got evicted. Do not make my mistake!!!

there's a backdoor number that sometimes works to get to a real person faster: [redacted for privacy] - press 1, then 3, then 2, then wait without pressing anything else

they changed this recently, it doesn't work anymore 😡
