Michigan State Return - Getting 'No Match Found' Error When Checking Refund Status
Getting really frustrated trying to check my Michigan state refund status. Keep getting 'No match found' every time I enter my info on the website. Filed 3 weeks ago and never had this problem before. Anyone else dealing with this or know what it means?

Tax preparer here - the 'no match found' message usually means one of two things: either your return hasn't been processed into MI's system yet, or there's a mismatch in how you're entering your info vs how it appears on your return. Double check you're using the exact numbers from your return and make sure you're not mixing up any digits.

Then its probably just not in their system yet. MI has been super slow this year processing returns.

Hey guys, I've been using taxr.ai to track both my federal and state returns. It's seriously a game changer - for $1 it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's going on and when to expect your refund. No more guessing games! https://taxr.ai

Does it work for state returns too? Or just federal?

It works for both! Been using it to track my MI return too. Way better than the state website tbh

Michigan's system is straight 🗑️ this year. Called them yesterday and they said they're backed up like crazy

Try checking early morning around 6am. Sometimes the website works better then. Worked for me last week!
