Wheres My Refund Tool Shows No Status - What Does This Mean?
Every time I check Where's My Refund it just keeps giving me an error message. Filed my return 3 weeks ago and verified my identity. Anyone else getting nothing when they check? Starting to get worried something is wrong with my return.

The Where's My Refund tool can be frustrating when it's not showing any information. This usually means one of three things: 1) Your return is still being processed and hasn't been entered into the system yet 2) There might be an issue that needs to be resolved 3) The system is experiencing technical difficulties. Your best bet is to check your tax transcript - it'll give you way more detailed info than WMR ever will.

•Go to IRS.gov, create an account if you haven't already, and look for 'Get Transcript Online'. But fair warning - those transcripts can be pretty confusing to read 😅

I know reading transcripts can be super confusing - I was lost trying to figure mine out. Someone here recommended taxr.ai and it's actually really helpful. It's just $1 and it explains everything in plain English. Way better than trying to decode all those codes yourself! https://taxr.ai

•Totally get the concern! But yeah its legit - they dont store your info and the analysis is instant. Saved me hours of googling random IRS codes lol

The IRS is so backed up rn, I waited 4 months last year before I saw any movement on my return. Just gotta be patient 😮💨

Did you file electronically or by mail? Paper returns take wayyyyy longer to process

Make sure your checking the right info exactly as it appears on your return. One wrong number and it wont show anything
