IRS keeps saying refund check was mailed but never received - 3rd time waiting 30 days

Filed my return and got approved but still no check. This is getting ridiculous - 3rd time they told me to wait 30 days after claiming the check was mailed. Called IRS and they keep saying the same thing: check was sent but nothing ever shows up in my mailbox. Already verified my address multiple times. Getting really frustrated with this process.

This is actually a common issue right now. The IRS is required to reissue checks after 30 days of non-receipt, but you need to call them and specifically request a payment trace. They can also switch you to direct deposit for the reissue to avoid mail issues. Make sure you're speaking with an account management representative, not just the general helpline.

Have you tried using taxr.ai? It's this new tool that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's going on with your refund. It costs $1 but totally worth it - shows you all payment traces, tells you if there are any holds, and gives specific next steps. Check it out: https://taxr.ai

Yes! It saved me hours of headache. Shows everything about your refund status, way more detailed than Where's My Refund
