Filed 2/16, No Updates & Missing IRS Letter - What's Going On?
I filed my return on February 16th and still no progress. Called the IRS monday and they said they mailed me a letter the week after I filed but I never got anything in my mailbox! Anyone else dealing with missing IRS letters? Getting really frustrated with this whole situation.

This is actually pretty common right now. The IRS sends verification letters (4883C or 5071C) when they need to verify identity or income. First, check your current address on file with IRS matches where you live. Second, you can try requesting a transcript online - it might show what letter they sent. If you can't access transcripts, call the ID verify line at 800-830-5084.

Did u check ur spam folder for any emails from irs? Sometimes they send digital notices too
