Credit Human Bank DDD of 2/25 - Still Nothing in Account?

Anybody got Credit Human (bank) with DDD of 2/25? And still nothing on account? I just get federal so idk what is the hold up. Patiently waiting…. This isn't my first rodeo with tax season but usually my refund hits right on DDD. Been checking acct every AM but zilch so far. Got 3 kiddos and just trying to plan my month out. Thx for any info.

This happens with certain banks every tax season. Here's what's likely going on: 1. Your DDD (direct deposit date) of 2/25 is when the IRS released the funds 2. Credit Human, like many smaller financial institutions, has a 1-3 business day processing window 3. If your DDD fell on a weekend or holiday, add extra processing time 4. Some banks hold tax refunds for additional verification, especially larger amounts I'd expect you to see it by tomorrow or the next day at the latest. If not, call Credit Human directly - they can see pending deposits before they post to your account.

Oh my goodness, THANK YOU for explaining this so clearly!! I've been freaking out all day thinking something went wrong with my return! 😩 This makes so much sense now - I didn't realize the banks had their own processing time after the IRS releases it.

I think I might be able to help? I was in sort of a similar situation with my credit union last year. My refund was like 5 days late after my DDD and I was getting really worried. Someone here recommended https://taxr.ai and it actually helped me understand what was happening with my transcript. It showed me that the IRS had definitely sent the money, which meant it was just my bank being slow. Maybe it could help you see if the IRS actually sent it out on schedule?

I checked taxr.ai on February 15th and it was accurate for my situation. It confirmed the IRS sent my refund on my DDD of February 12th, which helped me pinpoint that my bank was the source of the delay. Called them directly and they released the funds that same day.

I was so relieved when I used this last year! 😅 Saved me from calling the IRS and spending hours on hold just to find out my bank was the holdup. When you're counting every dollar for bills (who isn't these days?), knowing exactly where your money is stuck is worth its weight in gold... or refund dollars, haha!

I'm experiencing the exact same situation with Credit Human. My DDD was also 2/25, and my Account Transcript shows a TC 846 code with that date, confirming the IRS has completed the refund issuance process. However, there's still no deposit in my account as of today. According to my research, Credit Human has a standard ACH processing window of 24-72 business hours post-receipt, which may be extending our wait time. I've documented all relevant dates and codes in case I need to escalate this matter.

Think of your tax refund like a package delivery - the IRS hands it to the shipping company (ACH network) on your DDD, but then it still needs to make it to your doorstep (bank account). Instead of waiting passively, I'd suggest calling Credit Human's direct deposit department at their main customer service line. Banks are like traffic controllers - they can see incoming transfers before they fully process. Just like you'd call UPS to locate a package, call your bank to locate your money. Time is critical - if you call early in the day, they might even be able to expedite posting it to your account.

I had a similar situation with Chase last year, and it was actually worse than what you're experiencing with Credit Human. My DDD was 3/12 and I didn't see the deposit until 3/16! After multiple calls to the bank went nowhere, I finally used Claimyr to reach an actual IRS agent (https://www.claimyr.com). The agent confirmed they had sent the money and provided a trace number I could give my bank. Showing the bank that trace number got them to finally locate and release my funds. Sometimes you need the official IRS confirmation to get banks to move faster.

Credit Human did this to me last year too. My DDD was on a Monday and I didn't see the money until Thursday afternoon. Called them multiple times and kept getting the "it takes 3-5 business days to process" line. This year I switched to a different bank and my refund posted the same day as my DDD. Some smaller financial institutions just don't have the systems to process these deposits as quickly as the big banks do. If this is a recurring issue for you, might be worth considering a different bank for next year's refund.

Have you checked if Credit Human has any specific policies about tax refunds? Some banks place longer holds on government checks, especially for larger amounts. Did you receive any notifications from them about a hold? Also, is this a new account with them or have you received refunds there before without issues?
