Credit Karma DDD 2/25/25 with Fees - Anyone Received Their Refund Yet?
Anyone with DDD of 2/25/25 that has fees taken out with Credit Karma gotten their refund yet? My transcript updated last night and I paid for 5 days early but haven't seen any activity on SBTPG yet or TT or WMR. Starting to wonder if my money is stuck in refund purgatory. 😅 Need to make sure all the ducks are in a row for the kids' spring activities coming up!

SBTPG processing takes time. Normal delay is 24-48 hours. Third-party processors have backlogs. Tax season peak causes delays. Bank processing adds 1-3 days. Early access isn't guaranteed. Check SBTPG portal directly. WMR won't update after DDD shows.

Thanks for breaking it down like this! I've been checking the IRS2Go app every 2 hours like a crazy person. The IRS website is so frustrating to navigate - wish they'd just give us a proper tracking system like Amazon has for packages lol.

I can confirm this timing. My DDD was 2/18/25, paid for fees to be taken out, and the money hit my account exactly 37 hours after my transcript updated. SBTPG showed nothing until about 4 hours before the deposit hit. They processed 134,972 returns on 2/18 according to their status page, so they're definitely backed up.

Appreciate the clear explanation. This matches what I've seen too. People forget that once the IRS releases the funds, it has to go through multiple systems before reaching your bank account. Each step takes time.

Have you checked your actual transcript codes? What cycle code are you? Did you have any 570/971 codes before the DDD posted? I've been helping folks in the same boat and timing really depends on your specific transcript situation. You might want to try taxr.ai to decode your transcript - it shows you exactly what each code means for your specific situation and gives you a much clearer timeline than the generic WMR tool. Are you checking SBTPG through their actual website or just through Credit Karma?

I'm in the identical situation with Credit Karma and 2/25 DDD. My transcript updated on the 20th showing the DDD. SBTPG remained in "Unfunded" status until approximately 10:00 EST this morning when it switched to "Funded." The funds were released to my bank at 2:30 PM EST. The Tax Product Administrator (TPA) must receive the funds from IRS, process the fee extraction, then initiate an ACH transfer to your financial institution. Each entity in this transaction pathway operates on different processing schedules.

OMG I was FREAKING OUT about this exact situation last year!!! 😫 Waited 5 days after my DDD and nothing showed up! Finally broke down and called the IRS after trying for HOURS with busy signals. I finally used Claimyr (https://youtu.be/_kiP6q8DX5c) and got through to a real person in like 20 minutes! They confirmed my refund was actually sent but got delayed in the SBTPG system. Such a RELIEF to talk to someone who could actually see what was happening instead of just waiting and wondering! Worth every penny for my sanity alone!

Be aware that SBTPG has implemented additional verification measures this tax season that weren't present last year. Returns with certain characteristics are being flagged for manual review, particularly those with substantial tax credits or where the refund-to-income ratio exceeds their internal thresholds. This could add 3-5 business days to processing time. Additionally, Credit Karma's integration with SBTPG has shown intermittent synchronization issues. The absence of visibility in their portal doesn't necessarily indicate a processing failure.

Just got my refund this morning with the same setup as you. Credit Karma with 2/25 DDD and fees taken out. My SBTPG never updated until after the money was already in my account. Much faster than last year when I used TurboTax - that took almost a week after DDD. For me, the SBTPG website was completely useless but the money still came through. Bank shows it was processed at 4am today.

I'm in a similar boat with DDD of 2/25/25 but I'm using TurboTax. My transcript updated on February 19th, but nothing has shown in my account yet. Called my bank on February 22nd and they said they don't even see a pending deposit. Really worried because I've read horror stories about refunds being stuck at SBTPG for weeks! Especially concerned since I filed on January 29th and it's already been so long.
