Chime tax refund direct deposit says 2/24/25 but nothing showing up?

Every situation can be different. The IRS sends refunds in batches throughout the day, so your friend might have been in an earlier batch. Also, if your friend has a different bank or even a different Chime account setup date, that can affect timing too.

Lol this happens to me EVERY year and I always panic. Give it till midnight tonight, and if not then defintiely tomorrow. The IRS and banks move at different speeds. My chime usually hits mid-afternoon.

Sometimes it depends on ur specific chime account. My husband and I both have chime but his always hits earlier than mine even when we have the same deposit date 🤷‍♀️

trust me i get the stress. fwiw most of our customers see their deposit within 24hrs of the 846 date. just depends on when the irs batch processes run.

Yeah i triple checked they match. I've been with Chime for years and have gotten all my previous refunds there

That's not really fair. I've used Chime for 4 years and NEVER had an issue. They're usually early with my direct deposits.

Good luck getting through on that number! I tried for 3 days straight before giving up. The advocate system is overwhelmed right now.

I was having the same problem getting through, but used claimyr.com and got a callback in 45 minutes. Tax advocate confirmed my refund was fine and explained exactly when to expect it. Saved me days of frustration.

Whoa that actually works? Might try it if my amended return issues don't get resolved this week.
