Found a working callback number (321-430-4632) for DEO that actually got my weeks claimed!

Y'ALL!! After 3 weeks of hitting redial till my finger was numb, I FINALLY found a number that works for DEO callbacks! Called 321-430-4632 this morning, entered my number for a callback option, and literally got called back in 30 mins. The rep was super helpful and actually claimed my weeks right on the phone! I was about to lose my mind with the regular DEO number disconnecting me constantly. My rent is due in 4 days so this was the miracle I needed. Has anyone else tried this callback option? I'm still in shock it actually worked.

100% real! I was skeptical too but I was desperate. The callback actually came from a different number than the one I called, but it was definitely a DEO rep.

I tried calling that number just now and it said all representatives are busy. Does it matter what time of day you call? I've been trying to get someone to help me with my adjudication for AGES and nobody ever picks up the regular line.

I called around 9:15am so maybe try early morning? The recording said they were busy for me too but still offered the callback option. Definitely worth trying again!

I'm really glad this worked for you, but everyone should be careful about calling random numbers for DEO services. The official DEO customer service number is 1-833-FL-APPLY (1-833-352-7759). Sometimes these other numbers are third-party services that charge fees or collect personal information. Did they ask you for any payment information when you called?

No payment info asked for at all! The rep just verified my identity with my claimant ID and the last 4 of my social (just like the regular DEO does). He only helped claim my weeks that were ready to be claimed. Nothing sketchy happened.

OMG THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS!!! The regular number just hangs up on me every single time. My account is locked after the ID.me verification and I've been panicking about bills.

If your account is locked after ID.me verification, you might need to specifically request them to link your ID.me to your CONNECT account. Make sure to mention that when you speak with them.

I've been calling DEO for 3 days straight trying to figure out why my payments are stuck on hold even though I've been claiming regularly. All I get is busy signals or automated messages saying call volume is too high. I'm definitely trying this callback number tomorrow morning! Quick question - did they actually help solve your issue or just claim weeks? I need them to look into why my payments aren't processing.

The rep definitely seemed knowledgeable about the system. He explained why my weeks weren't showing up (something about a system glitch) and fixed it right away. Def worth asking about your holds - they seem to have full access to the accounts.

i used Claimyr last week and it worked to get thru to a rep. you pay like $20 but they call DEO for you and connect you when they get someone. took about 40 mins but better than days of calling. they have a video showing how it works at https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj if anyone wants to check it out. website is claimyr.com

Why would I pay when OP just shared a free callback option? Has anyone else tried both to compare?

I just tried it and got through to the automated system. Maybe try again? Sometimes the DEO phone system gets overloaded at certain times of day.

BE CAREFUL SHARING YOUR INFORMATION PEOPLE! There are scams targeting unemployment claimants. Always verify you're speaking with actual DEO representatives. The official Florida DEO will never ask for your full social security number over the phone (only last 4 digits), and they will never ask for credit card numbers, gift cards, or payment information. If someone asks for unusual information or requests payment to process your claim, hang up immediately and report it to DEO's fraud department at 1-800-342-9909.

This is good advice! The rep I talked to only asked for standard verification (claimant ID and last 4 of SSN) just like when you call the regular DEO number. No payment info requested at all.

UPDATE: I called the number this morning and did get a callback about an hour later! The rep helped me figure out my adjudication issue was because of a discrepancy with my employment dates. He couldn't fix it fully but did file a request to expedite my review. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS NUMBER!!

Did they say how long the expedited review might take? My account has been under review for 5 weeks already...

@Olivia Kay The rep told me expedited reviews usually take 7-10 business days vs the normal 21+ days. He said to check my CONNECT account daily and that I should get an email when there s'an update. Fingers crossed it actually moves faster! 5 weeks is way too long to wait.
