DEDOL impossible to reach - spouse can't get owed unemployment benefits. Any success stories?
Has anyone else been struggling to get through to unemployment? My spouse has been trying for days to reach someone about their benefits. It's so frustrating when you're just trying to get the money you're owed. Any tips on how to actually talk to a human?

I found a way to solve unemployment benefits contact issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cO7EQ4B7NRs

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been in the same boat for weeks now. It's like they don't want us to get our money š I've tried calling at different times, but no luck. Anyone know if there's a secret time when the lines aren't so busy?

ā¢I heard early morning is best, like right when they open. But tbh, it's still a crapshoot š¤·āāļø

I actually found a way to get through! There's this service called Claimyr (claimyr.com) that calls for you, waits on hold, and then connects you when a real person picks up. It costs $20, but it worked for me and saved me hours of frustration. Here's the link: https://www.claimyr.com

ā¢Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Anyone else tried it?

ā¢20 bucks? Thats kinda steep for something that should be free...

ā¢I get the skepticism, but it really did work for me. Yeah, it sucks to pay, but I was desperate after weeks of trying. Figured my time was worth more than the $20 at that point.

ā¢Just used it today actually. Can confirm it works! Got through in about an hour.

Have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes tweeting at the unemployment office or leaving Facebook comments can get their attention. Worth a shot if you're desperate!

This whole system is so broken. How are we supposed to survive when we cant even access the benefits we're entitled to? Its a joke š¤”

ā¢Preach! š The government needs to get its act together. We're not asking for handouts, just what we're owed!

Here's what I've learned after dealing with this for months: ⢠Keep a log of all your call attempts (dates, times, outcomes) ⢠Use multiple phones if possible (landline, cell, friend's phone) ⢠Check their website for any online chat options ⢠Look for local unemployment office email addresses ⢠Consider contacting your state representative for help ⢠Be persistent and don't give up! It's a frustrating process, but stay strong. You'll get through eventually!

ā¢Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely start keeping a log. Have you had any luck with emailing?

ā¢Emails can be hit or miss, but I did eventually get a response after about 2 weeks. It's slower, but at least you're in the system!

anyone else notice how the system always seems to "crash" right when you finally get through? š¤ conspiracy theory time: they do it on purpose to keep us from getting paid!

ā¢Take off the tinfoil hat, bro. Its just a crappy old system that cant handle the volume.

Pro tip: if you have a friend or family member who speaks another language, try the non-English lines. Sometimes they're less busy!
