SDI claim still pending after a month - what to do?

Ugh, I feel your pain! I've been dealing with SDI for what feels like forever. Have you tried calling them? It's a total nightmare getting through, but sometimes it's the only way to get answers.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone without waiting for hours. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there without sending a notification. It's worth a shot!

I'm in the same boat, submitted my claim on March 1st and still nothing. This whole system is a joke. 🤡

Ask for specifics: If they say it's pending, ask why and what exactly is needed to move it forward. Hang in there, OP. The system is frustrating, but stay on top of it and you'll get through eventually!

Anyone else notice how they always seem to "lose" our documents? 🙄 Make sure you keep copies of EVERYTHING you send them!

pro tip: call right when they open. youll still wait, but not as long as mid-day

I heard they're super backlogged because of budget cuts. Doesn't make it any less frustrating tho 😤

have u tried faxing them? sometimes old school methods work better with these dinosaur agencies lol
