SDI claim info not updating in system - anyone else experiencing delays?

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my SDI claim. I submitted some information a few days ago, but it's not showing up in the system. Has anyone else experienced delays with updates recently? I'm getting worried because I need this to process ASAP. Any advice on what I should do or who I should contact?

Ugh, I feel ya. The SDI system can be such a pain sometimes. Have you tried calling them directly? It might be worth a shot to see if they can give you any info on why it's not updating.

I've been trying to call all morning but keep getting a busy signal. It's so frustrating! 😤

Pro tip: try calling right when they open. Sometimes you can get through easier that way.

I had a similar issue last month. Turns out there was a glitch in there system that was causing delays for a bunch of people. It eventually sorted itself out after about a week, but it was nerve-wracking waiting for it to update.

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes they send confirmation emails that end up there. Also, double-check that you submitted everything correctly - I once thought I had finished my application but missed a crucial step at the end.

Good idea, I'll take another look. But I'm pretty sure I did everything right... guess it doesn't hurt to check again tho

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? Idk man, seems kinda steep just to make a phone call...

I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo. They even refund you if it doesn't work.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with SDI for years: 1. Be patient. Sometimes updates can take up to 10 business days to show in the system. 2. Document everything. Keep a record of when you submitted info and what exactly you sent. 3. If calling doesn't work, try reaching out via their online portal if available. 4. As a last resort, contact your local assembly member's office. They can sometimes expedite things. 5. Double-check all your info is correct - even a small typo can cause delays. Hope this helps! Hang in there, dealing with bureaucracy is never fun but you'll get through it.

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed response! This is super helpful. I'll definitely try the online portal next.

Great advice! I'd add: take screenshots of everything you submit online. It's saved my butt more than once when they claimed they never received something.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? 😂 jk jk... but seriously, sometimes logging out and back into your account can refresh things. Worth a shot!
