SDI claim stuck in 'pending processing' for 4+ weeks - what to do?
My SDI claim has been stuck in pending processing for over a month now. The website just keeps saying 'pending processing' and it's been like that for 4 weeks. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting worried and don't know if I should be doing something else or if this is normal. Any advice would be appreciated!

I found a way to solve SDI claim processing delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9U_67ZI4ks

Ugh, I feel your pain. I was in the same boat last year. It took them almost 6 weeks to process my claim. The system is so backed up its ridiculous. Have you tried calling them? Sometimes that can help speed things up.

•Thanks for sharing your experience. I've tried calling but can never get through. It's so frustrating! Did you do anything specific to finally get it processed?

•Honestly, I just kept calling every day until I finally got through. It's a pain, but persistence is key. Good luck!

•Pro tip: call right when they open. That's how I finally got through after weeks of trying!

4 weeks is actually not that bad compared to some stories I've heard. Some people wait months! But yeah, the system is totally broken. Have you checked if there are any updates or new requirements on the EDD website? Sometimes they sneakily add new forms or docs you need to submit.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this? Is it legit?

•I was skeptical at first too, but it really did work for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Double-check all your documents are submitted correctly. Sometimes a small error can hold up the whole process. 2. Try calling early in the morning, right when they open. That's usually the best time to get through. 3. If you can't get through on the phone, send a message through your online account. Sometimes they respond faster that way. 4. Check if your employer has submitted all necessary information. Sometimes the delay is on their end. 5. If all else fails, contact your local state representative. They often have liaisons who can help push claims through. Remember, the system is overwhelmed right now, so patience is key. But don't be afraid to be persistent! Good luck!

This whole system is a joke. We pay into it our whole working lives and when we need it, we cant even access it. Time for a complete overhaul if you ask me.

•Totally agree. It's a disgrace how they treat us.
