SDI Claim Stuck in Processing Since October - No Updates, Can't Reach Rep
Hey everyone, I'm at my wits end here. My SDI claim has been stuck in processing since October. It's been months and I haven't received any updates. I've tried calling but can't get through to a representative. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to get this resolved?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I was in the same boat last year. It took me 4 months to get my claim processed. The system is so broken 😡

•4 months?! That's insane. How did you manage financially during that time?

•It was rough, not gonna lie. Had to borrow money from family and max out my credit cards. Still recovering from it tbh

•This is why we need serious reform in the system. People shouldn't have to go into debt waiting for benefits they're entitled to!

Have you tried reaching out to your local assembly member? Sometimes they can help expedite these things.

•I hadn't thought of that. How do I find out who my assembly member is?

•Just google '[your city] assembly member'. They usually have a website with contact info. Good luck!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds sketchy. Is this legit?

•I was skeptical too, but it actually worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

•$20 to get through? That's highway robbery!

•I get it, but for me it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting so much time on hold.

Pro tip: keep ALL your documentation. Every letter, email, and make notes of every phone call (date, time, who you spoke to). It'll help if you need to escalate your case.

•Faxing? What year is it? 😂 But seriously, I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the tip!

Listen up, because I've been through this rodeo before. Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Every call, every letter, every email. Keep it organized. 2. Be persistent. Call every day if you have to. 3. Use the online portal to check for updates and send messages. 4. Reach out to your local assembly member or state senator. They can often help. 5. If all else fails, consider filing a complaint with the state ombudsman. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Don't give up!

Anyone else notice that claims filed in October seem to be taking longer? Maybe there was a glitch in the system or something 🤔

•Now that you mention it, I've seen a few other posts about October claims being delayed. Weird coincidence or systemic issue? 🧐

OP, have you checked if theres any missing info they need? Sometimes they dont tell u and just let the claim sit there 🙄
