Need help fixing SDI claim - best way to actually reach someone?
Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my SDI claim and I need to get it fixed. Has anyone else dealt with this? What's the best way to get in touch with someone who can actually help?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been trying to fix my SDI claim for weeks now. It's like talking to a brick wall sometimes. Have you tried calling their main number?

•Yeah, I've called so many times but I just keep getting stuck in this endless phone tree. It's driving me crazy!

•Same here! I swear they make it difficult on purpose. 🤬 Anyone know if there's a secret number or something?

•I heard if you press 0 repeatedly, sometimes it'll connect you to a human. Never worked for me tho lol

I actually found a way to get through! There's this service called Claimyr (claimyr.com) that calls for you, waits on hold, and then connects you when a real person picks up. It costs $20 but honestly, it was worth every penny for me. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•20 bucks? Idk man, seems kinda steep just to make a phone call...

•I get the skepticism, but after spending hours on hold myself, it was totally worth it. They got me through in like 30 minutes!

Have you tried going to an actual SDI office? Sometimes face-to-face is better than dealing with their crappy phone system.

I've been in the same boat, my friend. Here's what worked for me: 1. Gather all your documents beforehand 2. Call first thing in the morning (like right when they open) 3. Be super nice to the person who answers (even if you're frustrated) 4. Take detailed notes during the call 5. Get a reference number for your case Hope this helps! Hang in there 💪

•This is solid advice. I'd add: if the first person can't help, politely ask to speak with a supervisor.

•Preach! 🙌 It's 2023, you'd think they'd have figured this out by now

•Seriously tho. And don't even get me started on their website. It's like it was designed in 1995 and never updated 💀

Hey OP, what exactly is wrong with your claim? Maybe we can help troubleshoot if you give us more details.

•Thanks for asking! Basically, my payments stopped coming a few weeks ago and I can't figure out why. My doctor says all the paperwork is in order on their end.

•That happened to me once. Turns out there was a glitch in their system and they had to manually override something. Def need to talk to a human to fix that.

Pro tip: if you're gonna call, do it on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Mondays and Fridays are usually crazy busy.

Anybody else notice that ever since covid, getting ahold of ANY government agency is like 10 times harder? smh

•For real! It's like they're using the pandemic as an excuse to provide even worse service 🙄

Have you tried reaching out to your local state representative? Sometimes they can help push things through faster.

•I hadn't thought of that! Do you just call their office or is there a special process?

•Just call their office and explain your situation. They usually have staff dedicated to helping constituents with stuff like this.
