Have you tried calling them? Sometimes talking to a real person is the only way to get accurate info.
The EDD system is a joke. They're probably using computers from the stone age to process our claims. No wonder it takes forever 🙄
Here's what you need to do: 1. First, log into your account and screenshot your current bank info. Make sure it's correct. 2. Call the helpline (I know, it sucks) and ask them to verify the info they have on file. 3. If there's a discrepancy, ask them to update it immediately. 4. Request a trace on your missing payment. They can usually tell you if it was sent out and where it went. 5. If it was sent to the wrong account, they'll need to recall it. This can take 5-10 business days. 6. In the meantime, ask if they can issue you a paper check for any upcoming payments until the direct deposit issue is resolved. 7. Keep a record of every conversation - date, time, representative name, and what was discussed. 8. If you're really in a bind, ask about hardship assistance. Some agencies have emergency funds for situations like this. Hope this helps! Hang in there, it's a pain but it'll get sorted out eventually.

I've been dealing with payment issues for 3 months now. Called over 100 times. Finally got through last week and they said they'd escalate my case. Still waiting. This is beyond frustrating.
