SDI claim filed Aug 21 not showing on EDD website - was pending yesterday, now gone. Help!

Hey everyone, I filed my SDI claim on August 21st, but it's not showing up on the EDD website. Yesterday it was pending processing, but now I can't even see it. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting worried and don't know what to do next. Any advice would be appreciated!

I found a way to solve EDD claim not showing online, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spYIxXH3Hhg

Ugh, I feel your pain! 😩 The EDD website can be such a nightmare sometimes. Have you tried calling them directly? It might be worth a shot to get some answers.

I've been trying to call all morning, but I keep getting a busy signal or disconnected. It's so frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open. I managed to get through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.

Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a try tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed šŸ¤ž

I had a similar issue last year. It turned out that there was a glitch in their system. Keep checking daily, and if it doesn't show up after a week, definitely try to get in touch with a representative.

Have you checked your mail? Sometimes they send important notices through snail mail instead of updating the website. Make sure you haven't missed any letters asking for additional information.

Good point! I'll double-check my mailbox. Thanks for the reminder.

Guys, I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Anyone else tried it?

Idk man, paying to get through to a government agency? Seems sketchy af šŸ¤”

I get the skepticism, but I swear it's legit. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

Can you give more details about how it works? Like, do they guarantee you'll get through?

They don't guarantee it, but in my experience, it worked great. You pay, they call and navigate the menu, and when an agent picks up, it connects to your phone. Simple as that.

Listen up, folks. I've been through this rodeo before, and here's what you need to know: • First, don't panic. The EDD system is notoriously slow and glitchy. • Give it at least 5-7 business days before you start worrying. • Double-check all your paperwork. Make sure you didn't miss any required documents. • If you can't see your claim online, try logging out and back in. Sometimes that fixes it. • Keep an eye on your mail. EDD often sends important notices via snail mail. • If a week passes and still nothing, it's time to contact them. • Try calling first thing in the morning or right before they close. • Be persistent. It might take multiple attempts to get through. • When you do talk to someone, get their name and a reference number for the call. • If all else fails, consider contacting your local state representative. They can sometimes help push things along. Remember, patience is key here. The system is overloaded, but they'll get to your claim eventually. Hang in there!

This should be pinned at the top of the subreddit. So helpful!

Great advice! I'd add: document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every online status change. It might come in handy later.

Quick question - did you file online or by mail? I've heard that online applications tend to process faster, but mail might be more reliable if there are any issues with the website.

I filed online. Thought it would be faster, but now I'm not so sure...

Hey OP, hang in there! I know its tough, but try not to stress too much. Sometimes these things take time. In the meantime, make sure you have all your ducks in a row - gather any medical documentation, pay stubs, etc. That way, if they do need anything from you, youre prepared.
