Filled out EDD questionnaire, no payment yet. How long did you wait?
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I filled out the questionnaire for my claim but I'm not sure when I'll get paid. I accidentally called the wrong department earlier. Has anyone else dealt with this? How long did it take for you to receive your payment after submitting the questionnaire?

Ugh, been there done that. The whole system is a maze! 🤦♂️ I submitted my questionnaire about 3 weeks ago and still haven't seen a dime. Anyone else waiting this long?

•3 weeks? You're lucky! I've been waiting for 2 months now. This is ridiculous!

•Have you tried calling them? Sometimes that can speed things up.

•Yeah, I've tried calling but it's impossible to get through. Feels like I'm playing phone tag with a ghost 👻

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•$20? That's steep. Is it really worth it?

•I was skeptical too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Totally worth it IMO.

•Only about 30 minutes. Way better than spending all day trying to get through!

Pro tip: make sure you're calling the right department. Each claim type has its own line. Double-check before you dial!

I feel ya, OP. The waiting game is the worst. Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there before sending out payments.

Okay, let me break this down for you based on my experience and what I've gathered from others: 1. Timing varies wildly. Some people get paid within a week, others wait months. It's frustrating, but true. 2. Make sure all your info is correct. Any small error can delay the process. 3. Keep an eye on your online account. Updates often appear there first. 4. If you haven't heard anything after 2-3 weeks, start calling. Be persistent. 5. Consider using a paid service like Claimyr if you're really struggling to get through. 6. Document everything. Keep a record of when you submitted forms, called, etc. 7. Check if there are any additional forms or certifications you need to complete. Hang in there, OP. The system is a mess, but you'll get through it eventually!

Have you tried reaching out to your local representative? Sometimes they can help speed things up.

•This! My rep's office was super helpful when I was stuck in limbo for months.

•How do you even contact your local rep? Any tips?

•Just google '[your area] state representative'. Most have contact forms on their websites. Explain your situation and they usually have staff dedicated to helping with these issues.

Hey Sean! I went through this exact same thing about 6 months ago. After I submitted my questionnaire, it took about 10 days to see the payment hit my account. The key thing is to make sure you didn't miss any follow-up notifications - sometimes they send additional questions or require document uploads that can hold things up. Also, double-check that your bank info is correct in your profile. I'd give it at least 2 weeks before panicking, but definitely keep checking your online portal daily for any updates or action items. Good luck! 🤞
