Ugh, I feel your pain. I filed for maternity leave in November and it took FOREVER to hear back. Have you tried calling the EDD? It's a nightmare, but sometimes you can get lucky.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Pro tip: try calling right when they open in the morning. I got through after only 20 minutes on hold that way.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there before they actually contact you.

Just a heads up, I heard they're super backed up because of all the covid-related claims. Might be why it's taking so long.

have you tried faxing your documents? sometimes that gets faster results than mailing or uploading online. old school but it works lol
