EDD UI Online stuck on loading screen after login - can't access my claim

I'm at my wits end with this UI Online loading issue. When I sign into my EDD account, it lets me enter my username and password just fine, but then the next page just keeps loading forever with that spinning circle. I've been trying since Tuesday and still can't access my certifications or claim history. I'm using Chrome and tried on my phone too - same problem. My payment is due this week and I need to certify! Has anyone else run into this problem recently? Any ideas on how to fix it? I already tried clearing my cache but no luck.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try Edge tonight. Did you have to do anything special or just use a different browser?

The UI Online system is notoriously temperamental. Here are a few things to try: 1. Use incognito/private browsing mode 2. Try a different browser (Firefox often works when Chrome doesn't) 3. Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version 4. Disable browser extensions temporarily 5. Try logging in very early morning (4-5am) when system traffic is lower If none of these work, you might need to call EDD directly to report the technical issue. They can sometimes reset something on their end.

Thank you SO much for these suggestions! I'll definitely try incognito mode and Firefox. Didn't think about the extensions - I have quite a few. Waking up at 4am sounds painful but might be worth it if nothing else works.

LOL EDD and their TERRIBLE website strikes again! 😡 I swear they make it hard ON PURPOSE so people give up on their benefits. Been dealing with these loading issues for WEEKS now. Try a different device if you have access to one.

I don't think they do it on purpose, their systems are just outdated. They're actually working on upgrading the whole UI Online platform in 2025, but that doesn't help anyone right now, I know.

I had this exact issue last week! The UI Online infinite loading circle almost made me miss my certification deadline. After trying everything, I finally managed to get through to an EDD rep using Claimyr (claimyr.com). They have this service that helps you bypass the phone queue, and the agent was able to reset something on my account. Check out their demo video to see how it works: https://youtu.be/JmuwXR7HA10?si=TSwYbu_GOwYzt9km After the account reset, I could log in normally again. The rep told me they've been having backend database issues causing login problems for lots of people.

I've never heard of Claimyr before. I'll check out the video. At this point I'm willing to try anything because I really need to certify for benefits before the deadline.

did u try turning off wifi and using cellular data? my cousin said that worked for him

This might sound strange, but sometimes the UI Online browser compatibility issues can be fixed by adjusting your zoom level. Try pressing Ctrl and - (minus key) a few times to zoom out to 80% or 75%. For some reason, that has fixed the infinite loading screen for me several times. If that doesn't work, I've also found that completely signing out, closing the browser completely, then waiting about 10 minutes before trying again can help. The system sometimes gets stuck with a session that didn't properly close.

Wait, really? I would never have thought of changing the zoom level. That's such a weird fix but I'll definitely try it. I'll also try the complete sign-out and wait. Thanks for these unique suggestions!

Yes! The zoom trick actually worked! I'm shocked. I zoomed out to 75% in Firefox and suddenly everything loaded. Been able to access my account normally since then. Try it!
