EDD $810 overpayment conflicting with disability case - need advice ASAP
I'm in a tough spot with unemployment and disability. I got overpaid $810 by unemployment, and now it's messing up my disability case. I need to get this fixed ASAP. Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any advice on how to handle this when I talk to the unemployment department?

Ugh, that sucks. The EDD is such a mess rn. I had a similar issue last year. Here's what I did: 1. Gather all your docs - overpayment notice, disability paperwork, etc. 2. Call EDD first thing in the morning (like 8:01 AM) 3. Explain the situation calmly and ask for a supervisor if needed 4. Get everything in writing 5. Follow up regularly Good luck! I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI
