EDD auto-payment needs adjustment for part-time work. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle with my unemployment certification. I got an automatic payment notice on 4/29, but I've been working part-time recently. Now I need to get this adjusted. Has anyone dealt with something similar? What's the best way to handle this without messing up my benefits?

Ugh, been there done that. The system is so frustrating when it comes to part-time work! 🙄 Here's what you need to do: 1. Gather all your pay stubs or work records 2. Call EDD and explain your situation 3. Ask them how to properly report your part-time hours 4. Request an adjustment to your automatic payment 5. Get confirmation on how this will affect future payments Good luck, and don't let them give you the runaround!

•This is solid advice. I'd add: take notes during the call and get the reps name. You might need it later

Quick question - how many hours did you work? If it's under a certain threshold, you might still be eligible for partial benefits. Worth looking into!

•I worked about 15 hours over two weeks. Not sure if that changes anything?

Pro tip: Always, ALWAYS report any work, even if it's just a few hours. Better to be honest upfront than deal with overpayment issues later. Trust me, I learned the hard way 😅

Has anyone else noticed that the EDD website is about as user-friendly as a brick? 🧱 Like, why can't they make it easier to report part-time work without feeling like you're decoding the Da Vinci Code? 🕵️

Hey guys, I found a method to actually get someone on the phone at EDD. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ
