If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

For anyone calling the EDD questions phone number: avoid the lunch blackout from 12-1:30pm. The entire call center goes to lunch and nobody picks up. Found this out after wasting 3 hours calling during that window.

Yep, complete dead zone. They should post this information but they don't. Save yourself the frustration and call before noon or after 1:30.

I wish I had known this earlier. Explains why I never got through during my lunch break attempts.

Update: Used the early morning strategy mentioned here and got through to the EDD questions phone number on attempt #31 at 8:07am today. Agent confirmed I need to reapply since my benefit year ended. Thanks everyone for the timing tips!

0 coins

Good luck! Start dialing at 7:55 and don't give up. It's worth pushing through those first 30-40 attempts.

0 coins

This gives me hope. I've been calling random times and getting nowhere. Structure and timing clearly matter.

For anyone still manually calling - make sure you have snacks, water, and a phone charger ready. This process can take literally all day and you don't want to stop when you're finally making progress.

0 coins

Good practical advice. I ran out of battery twice and had to start over. So frustrating.

0 coins

Yeah, treat it like a survival situation. I also recommend having a backup activity since most of calling is just hitting redial repeatedly.

Has anyone calculated how much their time is worth vs just paying for a callback service? I'm curious about the break-even point.

0 coins

Plus the stress and frustration factor. Some things are worth paying for just for peace of mind.

0 coins

Exactly. The mental health cost of this calling process is real. Sometimes you just need to buy back your sanity.

Final tip: If you do get through to the main EDD line, don't ask to be transferred to Sacramento specifically. They'll just tell you that all agents handle all regions now.

0 coins

Yeah, it just wastes time and confuses the agent. Just explain your issue directly.

0 coins

Agreed. The agent I talked to said location doesn't matter anymore for phone support.

Been following this thread all day. Clear consensus: no Sacramento EDD phone number exists, main line is brutal, Claimyr seems to work for people willing to pay. That about sum it up?

0 coins

Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

0 coins

You won't regret it. Should have your answer in under an hour.

Remember EDD is only open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Pacific Time. Don't waste time calling on weekends or evenings like I did when I first started.

0 coins

Simple but important reminder! I made this mistake my first week too.

0 coins

Good point - I was wondering why Saturday calls never worked.

0 coins

One last piece of advice - when you do get through, have all your information ready: SSN, claim details, questions written down. Don't waste the opportunity by being unprepared after waiting so long to talk to someone.

0 coins

Great advice - I'll make a list of everything I need to discuss before my next attempt.

0 coins

And don't let them rush you off the call. You waited long enough to talk to them, make sure you get all your questions answered.

0 coins

For anyone still trying manually: keep a detailed log of your attempts. Note the time, how many calls, whether you got busy signal or hold, etc. You'll start to see patterns in when your odds are slightly better.

0 coins

Good idea. I should start tracking this data instead of just getting frustrated every day.

0 coins

I've been doing this for weeks. 2:30pm on Wednesdays is my highest success rate for getting on hold, but even then it's maybe 1 in 40 attempts.

0 coins

The hold music cuts out sometimes which makes you think the call dropped, but stay on the line. I've had agents pick up after 15-20 seconds of silence.

0 coins

That happened to me twice! I hung up thinking the call dropped. Now I know to wait it out.

0 coins

Yes! The silence can last up to 30 seconds sometimes. Don't hang up during the quiet periods.
