PFL only paid for one day, need to extend leave - help!

Ugh, that sucks! I had a similar issue last year. Have you tried calling the PFL office? Sometimes they can sort it out over the phone.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Make sure you double-check all your paperwork. Sometimes they deny claims or only partially approve them if there's missing info. Did you submit everything they asked for?

If you can't get through, consider using that Claimyr service someone mentioned. 4. While waiting, contact your local rep's office for help. 5. Document EVERYTHING. idk if this helps, but I had to send in additional medical documentation when I extended my leave. Did they ask you for anything like that?
