PFL only paying for 1 day instead of full month for baby bonding - help!
Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my Paid Family Leave claim. I'm trying to get the maximum amount paid out for a specific period (about a month) for baby bonding, but they're only paying me for one day. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any advice on how to get this sorted out?

Ugh, the PFL system can be such a headache! I had a similar issue last year. Have you tried calling them directly? Sometimes talking to a rep can help sort things out faster.

•I've been trying to call for days but can't get through. It's so frustrating! 😤

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 20 mins on hold that way!

•Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a shot tomorrow morning. 🤞

Make sure you've submitted all the required documentation. They won't process the full claim if anything's missing. Double-check your online account to see if they've requested any additional info.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Yeah, it's not cheap, but considering how much time and stress it saved me, it was worth it imo.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Gather all your documentation (birth certificate, employer info, etc.) 2. Log into your online account and check for any pending requests 3. If everything looks good there, you need to speak with a rep 4. Call early in the morning, right when they open 5. Be prepared to explain your situation clearly and have your claim number ready 6. If the first rep can't help, politely ask to speak with a supervisor 7. Keep detailed notes of every conversation, including names and dates If all else fails, consider contacting your local state representative. They can sometimes help push things through. Good luck! The system is a mess, but don't give up. You're entitled to your full benefits!

Oof, baby bonding issues are the worst. Took me 3 months to get mine sorted out. Hang in there!

Have you tried faxing your documents? I know it sounds ancient, but sometimes that gets faster results than uploading online.

idk if this helps but I had a similar issue and it turned out they had my dates wrong in the system. might be worth double-checking that when you talk to someone
