PFL Timesheet Delay: Haven't Received Next Form After February. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my Paid Family Leave benefits. I sent back my last timesheet for February, but I haven't gotten the next one yet. I really need to get paid for my bonding time with my new baby. Has anyone else had issues with getting their PFL timesheets? Any advice on how to speed this up?

Ugh, I feel your pain! The PFL system can be such a headache sometimes. Have you tried calling them directly? It might take forever to get through, but it's worth a shot.

Yeah, I've been trying to call but keep getting stuck on hold forever. It's so frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open in the morning. You might have better luck getting through.

Or try calling at like 4:55 PM. Sometimes they pick up right before closing lol

I had a similar issue last year. What worked for me was sending a follow-up email to their customer service. Make sure to include your claim number and all relevant dates. It took about a week, but they finally sent me the missing timesheet.

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes those timesheets end up there for some reason. Worth a look!

Good idea, I'll double check. But I usually get them in the mail, not email.

Oh my bad, I forgot they still use snail mail for some stuff. šŸŒšŸ“¬ The system needs an upgrade fr

Guys, I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

I was skeptical too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of hold time.

Trust me, when you've been trying to get through for weeks, $20 feels like nothing. Time is money, ya know?

Here's what I'd recommend: • First, double-check that you sent the last timesheet to the correct address. Sometimes they change it without telling us šŸ™„ • If that's not the issue, try faxing a request for your next timesheet. Yes, I know it's 2025, but sometimes old school works best with these government agencies. • Keep a detailed log of all your attempts to contact them. Dates, times, who you spoke to if you get through. • If all else fails, reach out to your local state representative's office. They often have contacts in these departments and can help push things along. Hang in there! The PFL system can be a real pain, but don't give up. You're entitled to these benefits, and persistence usually pays off.

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely try the faxing idea. Didn't even think of that.

This is solid advice right here šŸ’Æ Especially the part about contacting your rep. They can work miracles sometimes!

An app would be nice, but knowing the government, it'd probably crash every other day lol

Have you tried checking your claim status online? Sometimes they update info there before sending out new timesheets.

Hey Nia! I went through something similar a few months ago. What ended up working for me was going to my local EDD office in person - I know it's a pain with a new baby, but sometimes showing up physically gets faster results than waiting on hold forever. Bring all your paperwork and your claim number. The staff there were actually pretty helpful and got my missing timesheet sorted out the same day. Also, if you haven't already, make sure your address is updated in their system - sometimes mail gets delayed or lost. Hope this helps and congrats on your little one! šŸ’™
