PFL claim says 'processed' but no payment yet - Money Network users, how long did it take for you?
Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my PFL claim. It says 'processed with a weekly benefit' but I still haven't received any money. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for the payment to show up? I'm using Money Network if that makes a difference. Also, what exactly does it mean when the status changes to 'paid'? Any help would be appreciated!

Typically, it takes about 7-10 business days after your claim is marked as 'processed' to receive the payment. When it says 'paid,' it means the payment has been issued and is on its way to you. With Money Network, it usually appears within 1-2 business days after being marked as 'paid.

•This is helpful, thanks! Do you know if weekends count in those 7-10 days?

•Nope, it's usually just business days. So if it was marked 'paid' on a Friday, you should see it by Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

I've been through this before. Here's what I've learned: • 'Processed' means they've approved your claim and calculated your benefit amount • 'Paid' means they've sent the payment to your chosen payment method • With Money Network, it's usually pretty quick - 1-2 business days max • If it's been longer than that, definitely call them • Keep an eye on your Money Network account, sometimes it shows up there before you get any notification Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds sketchy. Is this legit?

•Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes the notification emails end up there. Also, double-check that all your info in the system is correct - I once had a delay because my address was slightly off.

•Good idea, I'll check my spam folder now. Everything else should be correct, but I'll double-check. Thanks!

•3 weeks?! That's way too long. You need to call them ASAP. Use that claimyr thing someone mentioned if you can't get through.

Pro tip: if you're really in a bind, reach out to your local state representative's office. They often have liaisons who can help push things along with PFL claims. Worked for me when I was stuck in limbo for weeks!

•This is brilliant advice! I never thought about contacting my state rep's office. How exactly did you reach out to them? Did you call their local office or email? And how long did it take for them to help resolve your issue?

•I called their local office directly and explained my situation. They have caseworkers who specialize in helping with state agency issues like EDD/PFL. It took about 2 weeks from when I contacted them to when my payment finally came through. They basically acted as a liaison and were able to get someone at EDD to actually look at my case. Definitely worth trying if you're stuck!

I'm going through the exact same thing right now! My claim has been showing "processed" for about 5 days and I keep checking my Money Network account multiple times a day. It's so nerve-wracking when you're counting on that money. Thanks for asking this question - the responses here are really helpful. Sounds like I just need to be patient for a few more days before I start worrying.

•I totally get that anxiety! I'm new here but going through something similar. The waiting is the worst part, especially when you really need the money. From what everyone's saying, it sounds like 5 days is still within the normal range. Hang in there! 🤞

•Same here! I'm also new to this whole PFL process and the waiting is definitely stressful. It's reassuring to see that others are going through the same thing. Based on what everyone's shared, it sounds like we're both still in the normal timeframe. Hopefully we'll both see our payments soon! 🤞

I'm new to this community and currently going through my first PFL claim experience. Mine has been showing "processed" for about a week now and I'm using Money Network too. Reading through everyone's experiences here is really reassuring - it sounds like the 7-10 business day timeline is pretty standard. I was starting to panic thinking something went wrong with my claim! Thanks to everyone who shared their timelines and tips. It's so helpful to know I'm not alone in this waiting game. Fingers crossed we all see our payments soon! 🤞

•Welcome to the community! I'm also new here and just started my first PFL claim journey. It's such a relief to find this thread - I was getting really anxious about the timing too. My claim has been "processed" for about 6 days now and I keep obsessively checking my Money Network account. It's so reassuring to hear from everyone that we're still well within the normal timeframe. The waiting is definitely the hardest part, especially when you're counting on that money for important things. Thanks for sharing your experience - it helps to know we're all in this together! 🙏

•Welcome to the community! I'm also pretty new here and just went through my first PFL claim a few months ago. The waiting period is definitely nerve-wracking, especially when you really need the money. From my experience, that 7-10 business day window is pretty accurate - mine took exactly 8 business days from "processed" to showing up in my Money Network account. One thing that helped me was setting up text alerts through Money Network so I got notified the moment the deposit hit. Also, try not to check too obsessively (easier said than done, I know!). The good news is that once it shows "processed," it's basically guaranteed to come through. Hang in there! 💪

I'm also new to this community and going through my first PFL claim! Mine just changed to "processed" yesterday, so I'm right at the beginning of this waiting period. Reading everyone's experiences here is so helpful - I had no idea what to expect with the timeline. It's reassuring to know that 7-10 business days is normal and that Money Network is usually pretty quick once it changes to "paid." I was starting to worry that something was wrong since I didn't see the money immediately. Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences and tips! This community seems really supportive. I'll try to be patient and not check my account every hour (though let's be honest, I probably still will 😅). Will definitely look into setting up those text alerts that Miguel mentioned!
