PFL benefits not paid since March - anyone else experiencing delays?

Has anyone else not received their paid family leave benefits? Mine haven't been paid since early March and I'm getting worried. I've tried calling but can't get through to anyone. Any advice on what to do or if this is happening to others?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. My benefits stopped coming in mid-February and I've been struggling ever since. Have you tried uploading any additional documents? Sometimes they need more proof but don't tell you šŸ™„

I haven't gotten any notifications about needing more documents. Did you get an email or something when they needed more from you?

Nope, no email. I only found out when I finally got through to someone on the phone after like a million tries. It's so frustrating!

This happened to me too! They needed additional verification but never told me. I only found out after weeks of no payments. The system is broken af 😤

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Got through in about 2 hours instead of calling for days.

20 bucks to maybe talk to someone? Idk man, seems like a rip-off

I get the skepticism, but when you're desperate to get your benefits, $20 is worth it. Plus, you only pay if you actually get connected.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes there are messages or requests for info there that they don't send emails about. Worth a shot!

I've been dealing with this nonsense for MONTHS. Here's what I've learned: • Always check your online account daily • Upload any docs they might need, even if they don't ask • Keep a log of all your calls and attempts to contact them • Reach out to your local representative's office - they can sometimes help • Be persistent and don't give up It's a broken system, but you gotta play the game to get your money. Good luck!

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely try reaching out to my rep's office. Didn't even think of that.

This is why we need to overhaul the entire system. It's not just you, it's happening to thousands of people. We should be organizing and demanding change!

Preach! šŸ™Œ But how do we even start? It feels so overwhelming

Start small. Write to your representatives, join local advocacy groups. Every voice counts!
