Need to delete wrong form on PFL application - help!
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle with my paid family leave application. I accidentally uploaded the wrong form and now I need to delete it. Has anyone gone through this process before? What's the best way to get this sorted out? I'm worried it might mess up my whole application if I don't fix it soon.

Ugh, been there done that. The system is such a pain to navigate. When I had to delete a form, I ended up calling their helpline. It took forever to get through, but they were able to remove it for me. Just be prepared to wait on hold for like an hour 🙄

I found a method to get someone on the phone quickly. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•Yep, totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

•How long did it take for them to call you back?

•It took about 45 minutes for me, but I've heard it can vary. Still way faster than doing it yourself!

Here's what you need to do: 1. Call the Paid Family Leave office 2. Have your claim number ready 3. Explain that you uploaded the wrong form and need it deleted 4. Ask them to confirm once it's been removed 5. Request to upload the correct form if possible Remember to be polite but firm. Sometimes you might need to escalate to a supervisor if the first person can't help. Good luck!

Whatever you do, DON'T try to upload a new form to "cover" the old one. I did that and it totally messed up my claim. Had to start the whole process over 😫

Has anyone tried contacting them through social media? Sometimes that works for other govt agencies

•I tried tweeting at them once. They just sent me a link to their FAQ page 🙄 Useless.

I actually went through this exact same situation last month! Here's what worked for me: I called the PFL helpline first thing in the morning (around 8:05 AM) and got through pretty quickly. The rep was super helpful - they deleted the wrong form right away and walked me through uploading the correct one. Make sure you have your Social Security number and claim number handy when you call. The whole thing took maybe 20 minutes once I got connected. Don't stress too much about it messing up your application - they deal with this kind of thing all the time!

•This is so reassuring to hear! I was really worried I'd somehow permanently messed up my application. Thanks for sharing your experience - it gives me hope that this will be a quick fix. Did they ask you any specific questions about why you uploaded the wrong form, or were they pretty straightforward about just removing it?

Hey! I had this exact issue a few weeks ago. I was panicking thinking I'd ruined everything, but it turned out to be no big deal at all. I called the PFL customer service line and explained what happened. The rep was really understanding and said this happens more often than you'd think. They removed the wrong form from my account within minutes and told me exactly how to upload the correct one. The key is to call them sooner rather than later - don't let it sit there stressing you out like I did! You got this! 💪
