EDD claim frozen for 3 months - possible info error? HELP!
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle here. My claim has been frozen for 3 months now and I have no idea what's going on. I think there might be something wrong with the information on my claim, but I'm not sure. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any advice on how to get this sorted out? I'm getting desperate here!

Ugh, I feel your pain! I was in the same boat a few months ago. Have you tried calling them? It's a pain, but sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

•I've tried calling so many times, but I can never get through. It's like hitting a brick wall 😫

•Pro tip: call right when they open. Set an alarm and be ready to dial. It's still a pain, but your chances are way better.

•Or try calling at like 4:55 PM. Sometimes they stay a few mins after close to finish up calls.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they post updates or request additional info there without sending a notification.

3 months is waaaaay too long. Something's definitely wrong. You need to get on the phone with a real person ASAP. Keep calling until you get through!

Hey, I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video for more info: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 😤

•I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

•Can you give more details about how it works? Is it legit?

•Yeah, so you go to their website, choose the department you need to call, pay, and then they start calling for you. When they get a real person, they connect you. Super simple.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Write down all the dates you've tried to contact them, any correspondence you've received, and details about your claim. 2. Check your online account daily for updates or requests for information. 3. Try calling first thing in the morning, right when they open. Be persistent. 4. If you can't get through on the phone, send a written request for information about your claim status. Use certified mail so you have proof they received it. 5. Contact your local state representative or senator's office. They often have liaisons who can help with unemployment issues. 6. If all else fails, file a formal complaint with the Department of Labor. Remember, you have rights as a claimant. Don't give up! Keep pushing until you get answers.
