Here's what you need to do: 1. Gather all your documents (SS card, birth certificate) 2. Write a letter explaining your situation 3. Include copies of your expired ID 4. Mail everything to the EDD office 5. Follow up with a phone call in a week I had to do this when my wallet was stolen. It's a pain, but it works!

have you tried turning it off and on again? 🤣 jk jk. but seriously, sometimes clearing your browser cache or trying a different browser can help with those pesky online forms.

This is why the system is broken. We shouldnt have to jump through hoops just to get the benefits we deserve. Its time for a complete overhaul of the EDD!

I heard they're updating the online system soon. Might be worth waiting a few days to see if that fixes the error you're getting.

Whatever you do, DON'T mail in your original documents! I made that mistake and it took months to get them back. Always send copies!

Have you considered getting a state ID card? It's usually faster than renewing a driver's license and might solve your problem.
