In my experience, they usually contact you within 2 weeks of filing. But if you're worried, it doesn't hurt to give them a call. Just be prepared to wait on hold for a while.

Make sure you've submitted all the required documentation. They won't process your claim if anything's missing. Double check everything on their website.

Pro tip: call right when they open in the morning. You're more likely to get through before the lines get jammed up. Also, Wednesdays seem to be less busy for some reason. 🤷‍♂️
