EDD Callback Confusion: Is 888-506-3112 legit? Accidental call request worry
Hey everyone, I just had a weird experience with EDD. I accidentally placed another call request after I had already talked to an agent. I was worried about my information being secure. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it normal to get calls from 888-506-3112? Just want to make sure everything's legit.

No worries, mate! That number (888-506-3112) is legit. It's the official EDD callback number. Your info is safe with them. I've gotten calls from that number before too.

Can confirm. I've had multiple calls from that number. Always been legit EDD agents.

Really? I've been avoiding answering calls from unknown numbers. Maybe I've been missing important stuff 😬

Yeah, definitely answer those calls! EDD won't leave voicemails usually, so you could miss out on important info.

Ugh, the EDD system is such a mess. I've had so many issues with duplicate calls, missed calls, and general confusion. It's like they're stuck in the stone age or something 🙄

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone without all the hassle. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Anyone else tried it?

$20? That's kinda steep just to make a phone call...

I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo. And yeah, others in this sub have used it too.

I've used it twice now. Worked both times. Beats sitting on hold for 3 hours straight 🤷♂️

Pro tip: Always write down the name and ID number of the agent you talk to. It'll save you a lot of headaches if you need to follow up later.

This!!! 💯 I learned this the hard way after getting conflicting info from different agents.

Anyone else feel like were playing phone tag with EDD? I swear, half the time I call, they say they'll call back, and then... crickets. 🦗🦗🦗

I've started keeping a log of all my calls and attempted callbacks. Helps me keep track of the madness.

Hey OP, don't stress too much about the accidental call request. These things happen. The EDD system is confusing af. As long as you got through to someone eventually, you're good.

FYI for everyone: EDD has been updating their systems lately. Might explain some of the weirdness with calls and stuff. They posted about it on their Twitter last week.
